Dark, dirty and in need of major updates. This place was fun years ago. It has definitely fallen behind the times. Bartenders are rude and I feel very unsafe while there. The Parking lot is too dark to feel safe walking to and from your car. Also the highest cover charge in Jacksonville. $10 a person on a slow night with nothing going on. Just go down the road to Park Place where there is no cover charge and better atmosphere.

Happy Hour specials really good. All the bartenders are great, especially Billy! Very personable & friendly staff. Mix of lesbians and gay men. A little more smokey than what I like, but the drinks are good and the people are friendly.

My wife and I love this club. We go on Saturdays and always have a great time. The piano bar is fantastic, especially since you can sing with the piano player. Later in the night the club really becomes fun. You have a drag show in one room, dancing in the main room,(with a drag show too), and the piano bar all going full throttle. So if you are looking for a great Saturday night, this is the place. Just an FYI, I would suggest getting there around 10PM. That's when the club begins to pick up. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!

I love Metro, it's one of my favorite clubs. But the drinks are just way too expensive. They do have a lot of different types of entertainment and unique shows. The staff is excellent, professional and fun! Metro is also very welcoming to everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or identity.

I came from Michigan on vacation with family and wanted a night to get out and have some fun. I took an uber to metro and was kinda nervous about going out alone. As soon as I ordered a drink all my anxiety was completely gone!! The bartenders were both great. Within minutes I was meeting locals at the bar and having a great time. Even got to see a drag show while in town!! All in all highly impressed for a night out!! Will definitely return for vacation with friends!!

Well first off, I randomly googled "gay friendly bars" in Jacksonville. The website made it seem pretty cool so I decided to check it out on a Thursday night with some friends. When I first pulled up my first thought for some reason was "old creepy motel".. We walked in and paid $10 for the "all u can drink special".. Yeah right. The bartender barely even will look your way unless you're waving a tip$ in your hand. Then one of the drag queens will announce in the microphone "IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY LIQUEUR IN YOUR DRINK ITS BC YOUR NOT TIPPING!" So pretty much u end up having to pay more than the advertised special if you really want to get tipsy and be able to enjoy the half empty room with one guy dancing on the stage the whole time . Once the show started I was halfway drunk so it was entertaining at that point. Lol. Cream on the crop is when I go back to my car and see someone has rolled my window down and tried to break in!! Everything is thrown everywhere from the glove compartments just thankfully they didn't steal my car! I had a decent time (seeing as how I never go out) outside of that and the bartender. I may go back on a weekend just to try it out one more time but this time I will park near the door.

In the middle of nowhere!!! Dark area! No fun! I did not feel safe In this area.

LOVED the Easter theme one of the dancers sported! SO CREATIVE! Haven't had this much fun at the metro since sneaking in under aged 15 years ago. As to the employees, your jealous stares were visible across the entire building. Next time maybe use creative (guest) dancers to your advantage, schedule appropriate and work together. Best for people between 18-25(tops)
