The place was really nice and definitely relaxing. I love the fact that we can book online or call to make a reservation even same day (as long as it’s not sold out). The person at the front desk was super helpful and really nice, and explained everything so professionally. We booked the 2-5pm block and by that time the shampoo and soap were all out in every shower from the previous 2 blocks, I suggest they replenish them after each block and the bathrooms could use a bit of a cleaning in between. The 3 hour time block gives you plenty of time to put your stuff away, change, shower, enjoy each pool and even sunbathe! I’d definitely come back! One downside is that the restaurant is right at the entrance so when you walk in you’re greeted with the smell of food instead of what you’d expect a spa to smell like so the mix of essential oils and food just didn’t go well. It would be great if they had separate entrances so the smells and restaurant noise doesn’t mix.

I’ve passed through this area before, but never stopped to enjoy this beautiful little escape. Glad I finally did. Although this isn’t a very hot hydrothermal spring, the layout, design, and general aesthetic is on point. Everything from the fire feature to the shower facilities … you can tell that someone invested the time an effort to make a great atmosphere. And I think it paid off. I would definitely stop again on my next trip to the Black Hills.

This is absolutely a go to spot for relaxation and just an overall lovely experience. All the staff were so kind and helpful, the facility was clean and beautiful, and the price is unbeatable for a 3 hour experience! My mom and I passed through hot springs, she had been here before and told me we HAD to go back. In the morning we took a yoga class with James that was such a nice break from our long road trip. He is obviously very intuitive and knowledgeable in his practice, offered a variety of postures for various abilities and desires, and was easy to follow along. I appreciated his desire to slow things down while still offering challenge. 10/10 recommend

6 different pools with varying temperatures of mineral hot springs flowing through. I thought swimming with algae was a bit...slimey but it was definitely worth the experience. Was surprised to learn they charge to rent towels. Why not increase the cost of entrance a few dollars and include towels? Feels like a short sighted loss that can add convenience to customers but that's just my opinion. Cool experience when you're out this way.

I recently visited Moccasin Springs, and it was an incredible experience! The facility was impeccably clean and modern, making for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The staff was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything clearly. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Highly recommend Moccasin Springs for anyone looking for a top-notch wellness experience! Glad they limit the amount of people in per time slow. The spa fee was reasonable! Will definitely come again.

Wonderful space to soak after a long hike. The natural springs bring back life. Wish I could have been able to take a yoga class there too. I'll have to come back.

Had a very enjoyable time here. Was very happy to see they enforce the rules of be quiet to guest talking too loud. Very clean bathroom/changing rooms and even supplied bodywash, shampoo and conditioner in them. Don't forget to bring your own towels!

First time going to the springs, great experience. I love that they only let limited amount of people in so it doesn't get crowded. I also did the infrared sauna (my sinuses had never been so clear lol). Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Pricing isn't horrible. Beautiful and historic.
