Went with a friend to have some drinks and shoot some pool. on 7/27/2024. When I mean our bartender Ashley was so rude? She had a stale face. very moody. You ask her for something. It was like we were bothering her, and she messed up on the Bill. We have to take it up with our bank. Do. Not go to her, get a waitress. The DJ and security was awesome!

I discovered this place after my recent move. It's literally two minutes from where I live. It's tucked away in the aging strip center on the corner of Cartwright and FM 1092 aka Murphy Rd. You wouldn't even know it was there. Walk inside and the vibe of this place draws you in. Met the owner and she gave me the full rundown of activities. I was impressed with how well they seem to be running the place. They have karaoke (more on this later) scheduled comedy shows and a DJ. My first time here, I really was looking for something to eat, I ordered plain fried chicken wings and they were delicious, seasoned well and crispy. Came back last Friday with a date. We got there about 8 ish and the place was slow but there were a few couples scattered about by 10 PM the place started to fill up. DJ came in and vibe changed in a good way. There's no real dance floor but I don't think the new generations do that anymore but there was random dancing all around. Apparently karaoke is just freestyle. You request a song, get the mic and start singing. A couple of times, I didn't even realize someone was actually singing, there were some good singers but all were welcome People were walking around singing, others sang at their table it was chaos, so much fun. Such a great spot where people were free to just be themselves. By 11:30, there were hookas, drinks and chicken wings everywhere. There was a security guard, but I didn't see any drama, it wasn't that kind of crowd. Crowd was pretty diverse. Ages 30 and up. The ratio of men to women was about even. I saw a lot of younger men come and hang out at the bar and smoke hookah with friends. I ordered the fish, it was fried hard, wasn't my favorite as the filets seem to be frozen and were a little soft inside. The flavor was good but the texture was not the best but I'm picky about catfish. Shrimp was flavorful, I'll probably stick to the wings and try some other stuff on the menu. Wait stuff was nice, professional and fun. Place is relatively clean, the men's restroom could use some attention but it wasn't truck stop bad but just needed maintenance, toilet wouldn't flush and ai had to lift the lid and pull the plunger myself I didn't mind. Overall, this was a great place to unwind, drink prices were reasonable. Ill definitely be back. There is a police station across the street btw...If you're looking for a more mature vibe that isn't trying to be too bougie or too good, this is the perfect in between balance.

Mo City Chicken is my all- time favorite. It gets a 5. I’ve frequented this place several times. I bring all of my visiting family here but tonight… the service sucked. The waitress had a horrible attitude. Once she closed out my ticket (because now you have to leave a card for a tab or close out), she never came back to our table. My cousin and my friend both had to order their food at the bar. THEN, when I was leaving, she had security stop me because she said I had not paid my tab. What she was referring to was the refill of lemonade that another server had to bring to me and my son because she had not come back to the table. Seriously?! I have never paid for a refill there and I have never witnessed a server there with that type of attitude. If she was not there, I would give 5 stars, but she was.

Great food, drink specials, Sundays comdey night from local great comics from Houston. very funny talented.

Waitress were moody and not professional. They hire young women that rather argue with the customers rather than listening to the customer need.It took a while for the food to come out and when it did, my fries were cold. Paid for a beer with cash asked for a receipt and the waitress said she’ll get to us when she was done. Very rude, and disrespectful. This particular waitress, states that it was easy for her to split our bill at the end. When it came to splitting the bill it was wrong. When we were trying to explain to her what should be paid for and what was already paid for her response to me was, that’s not my problem, you and your friends need to figure it out. In all it was a do not recommend type of situation. I will never visit this establishment again

We visited for the karaoke. I brought a family friend from Sweden. Very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. The only thing that earned it 4 stars is that the music isn't varied for karaoke. It seems to have a regular clientele, which is great if you are a local. A bit of culture shock for my friend.

The chicken was so good the lemon pepper wings was but the servers attitude was horrible to me she wasn't kind to us. I see her laughing with others but she was dry with us im not from here and ive never met her . When ordering our food we seemed rush .. and the place wasn't even packed next time I would get food to go. we were there june 6th between 6 and 7 pm
