I came to Modern Massage for help to recover from my broken ankle. After 2 months of inactivity, my leg and foot muscles were frozen. Jared removed the knots in my muscles and helped to increase my circulation. He also improved the range of motion in my foot and that evening, I was able to walk the farthest to date. Jared is very skilled and knowledgeable and he dealt very professionally and communicated well with me. He also took special care to not cause me any pain or discomfort during treatment. I am coming back and I highly recommend him!

I had a great experience! I need massage so my hands don’t go numb from sitting at a computer all day. Finding someone who knows what they are doing and someone who listens is very hard. Seriously very happy with Mayra!! I will be going back!!

I am deeply disappointed. I was referred to modern massage by my chiropractor and put all my trust in the massage therapist. Now, the massage I had would probably work great for someone. That's why I gave three stars. For me, 0 stars. I had to find someone else quickly to help me recover from the massage. If you have fibromyalgia and have been going to massage for as many years as I have, you know it's not okay to focus on only ONE limb of the body for the whole session. I didn't say anything because I lost track of time. I was in pain and thought at any minute he would move from that one leg. I said to focus on that one leg, but to me that meant to put more focus on it than other parts of the body. There was terrible miscommunication for sure. But I REALLY am a stickler to the fact when someone is in pain, they really can't react normally. It's up to the massage therapist to follow the bodies needs as best that they can. Ask more questions during the session. Etc. And not to joke about my having such very tight hips at the END of the session. I mean, that's why I was there. PLEASE, if you go to any massage therapist, MAKE SURE if you feel uncomfortable to say something during the session. 🙂 Also, paying beforehand was weird to me. So glad I didn't leave a tip.

Jared’s very very large hands make his already expert massage even better! A whole new experience you haven’t had before. Very broad, deep, even pressure. Makes you feel pampered in addition to nurtured - has all the extras. And is a delight to converse with.

I feel and know the benefit of massage. So, I've been to quite a few. I can honestly say that Jared is the best. He really knows what he is doing. He has hired great people, I'm excited to try their skills out, too. I am glad he has added Hyperbaric oxygen therapy to his business. The benefits to this type of therapy are well-known.
