Morgantown Brewing Company

Delicious burgers and sandwiches, great beer, and cozy laid-back atmosphere. I'll definitely come back and try more of their burgers. They're reasonably priced and perfectly sized. The roasted Brussels were also really good side, fries were equally delicious. I got the seasonal Christmas sours, which were festive and on point.

This place was truly something special when it was Morgantown Brewing Company, but the greed of the building owner forced that place out of business because they thought they could open something up in its place and ride that success directly to the bank. Unfortunately this place is now terrible. Do not waste your time on this disgusting out of the freezer overpriced garbage. They don’t brew their own beer at this place anymore and with the quality of what they do have to offer, that’s probably for the best. It’s a shame that we lost such a great brewery and got this dumpster fire in its place.

Deleted my old 5 star review because since new ownership has taken over, this place sucks. We used to come here a couple times a month, but we won’t be returning after trying it after the switch over. The menu isn’t recognizable, and the food is bland. The entire vibe of the pub has changed, and not in a good way. Used to be our favorite pub in town, but wouldn’t recommend going here to anyone anymore. It’s sad

My family and I went to Morgantown Brewing Company for dinner while visiting my daughter at West Virginia University. We had a great experience, mostly because our server was so great. We had some dietary restrictions in our group and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. The burgers were great and the kids loved the various mac and cheese dishes. The salad with brussel sprouts was amazing. We will be back.

We went for Oktoberfest. It was a fun, enjoyable time. The place was packed. There was a great polka band. They had a special menu of food items for the occasion. See photo of Frammkuchen, Schnitzel, Perogies, and Bratwurst. I had the Glow in the Dark stout. It was excellent. Prices are $10-20 for food. We parked in the Wharf Parking Garage down the street a couple of blocks.

The food and beer were delicious! There is an outdoor (dog friendly) patio and indoor seating. We sat outside but I did notice a ping pong table inside. I highly recommend the sour beer called Listen to Missy Elliott and the grilled chicken pepperoni parm sandwich.

The good reviews are from when It was Morgantown brewing. Due to some shady at best business dealings, according to rumors, the brewery closed and then this “brew pvb” opened shortly after. Went with friends to give it the “benefit of the doubt”. We were disappointed. They aren’t brewing beer, the food wasn’t good and the service wasn’t either. The person serving us was nice, but since there was only two other small groups in the place it was interesting that we had to wait so long for most things. The pretzel with beer cheese- cheap pretzel bites and “beer cheese” that was like a weird soup The burger was just boring, don’t really know how to explain it otherwise. Sad that this place changed and now is what it is. But luckily short story brewing seems to have filled in the market for what Morgantown brewing left behind.

Comically bad. Where to even start? There was no service at all. Seat yourself, get your own menus, walk up to the bar and order. Behind the bar, the employees were keeping a half eaten Jersey Mikes hoagie in the beer cooler. Most of the menu was blacked out due to something going on in the kitchen. The beer I ordered off the menu was out. We ordered poutine and wings. The gravey on the poutine was cold, and the 6 wings we got for 10$ were ALMOST cooked. If you are looking for a great place to eat and drink , stay away from here!
