I was pleasantly surprised with the food and vibe here. Great place to grab a bite and drinks before a concert. The bar crowd was super cool.

Low-key spot for a quick bite & a beer right by Ogilvie at the Clinton Metra station. Decent burger, well-poured drinks, and great service. Tirrell brings a great energy and has an obvious rapport with the local regulars. Easy 5 minute walk from Hampton Inn / Homewood Suites West Loop.

Our meal was exquisite honestly! Serving food till 10 PM 7days a week! The house favorite IPA was great. Our server was as cool as humans can be. Don’t miss out on this place. They do take out too.

I been here quite a few times but this Friday was not a good experience. We had a bartender make the Manhattan and it had an aftertaste it was not good at all. After telling him he did nothing to rectify the situation. The female bartender made it much better but they refused to take the Manhattans off the bill. Terrible customer service. The wings was not cooked well. Those they took off the bill. I am not sure if we will give this place another shot. There's way too many bars around to treat customers this way. If something is not to our liking you should try your best to solve this especially with us coming here quite a few times.

My family of 4 stopped in while waiting for a train ride out of the city. Waiter was very friendly and helpful. Everyone got a different thing, and each one was great. Highly recommend

An average place with average service. Not bad, just given the area you’d think they’d be more proactive or friendly to retain customers. But not a bad “holdover” if you need to crush some time till you move on.

Great space to grab a beer (or whiskey) and watch a game, the food is also good. I liked how friendly the bartenders were and there seemed to be a lot of regulars which made the bar feel like a big home. I'll def be back to grab a drink or two and some curds and fries when walking by and explore more of the food options.

I am editing my old review to reflect a second tasting of the same dishes: fish and steak tacos. Wow wow wow. Okay. So, here’s the deal. My first go wasn’t everything I imagined, and the GM immediately worked to rectify our order - and when I say immediately, I’m talking same day contact. Can I just say I’m beyond impressed? I’m impressed with not only with the customer service aspect of this restaurant, but also with the quality of the food. It’s delish. (Insert drooling emoji here). My shrimps were plump and perfectly seasoned to my liking. The fries were just as great as I remembered from the last order. My boyfriend had the steak and he agrees - spectacular! Bravo New Line Tavern. Thank you for everything you’ve done to make our dinner really freakin’ good.
