I had my first Thai massage ever here today with Noi and it was the best massage I’ve ever had. Highly highly recommend. I’m a massage therapist and extremely picky about bodywork and I like it very, very deep. This session was top notch, she got into places I didn’t know existed Highly recommend the herbal add on, it was super soothing after all that spicy knot-extinguishing work. On top of it, this is an extremely welcoming and beautifully decorated and cozy space. They serve a really yummy little butterfly pea tea drink after your session that is super delightful. ✨

Jan 2024: Another successful knot vanquishing session is in the bag Thanks for saving the day (and my neck) as usual, John! — Oct 2023: Earlier this year, I was experiencing a very stressful period in my life, that was affecting my ability to get a good night’s sleep and causing me to carry around an enormous amount of tension in my neck and shoulders. This eventually altered my posture and created neck and back pain that got to a point where it had to be addressed. I had two separate massage sessions at different places over the course of a week’s time, but any relief I experienced was short lived at best. Then one morning I woke up in such severe pain that I finally broke down in tears because I was so desperate for relief. Fortunately my husband chose this exact moment to call, and after realizing just how badly I was hurting, he stepped in to see what he could do to help. Insert Noi’s Massage in downtown Lake Oswego, which specializes in Thai massage. Although located only 10 mins from where we live, I had never heard of this place before. Yet by some miracle, they happened to have an opening become available that same afternoon with one of their massage therapists, Jon. Their online reviews looked amazing, so my husband booked the appointment for me, and I went and soaked in a hot Epson Salt bath while I waited out the next few hours. Upon arriving, I was pleased to see that there was plenty of off street parking available, because this girl cannot parallel park to save her life. I did get a little confused about where the entrance was located because it’s not very clearly marked depending on which direction you are coming from. But basically if you are facing the building, just walk to the far right, then go down the path on the side of the building, then down the small set of stairs and the door to Noi’s will be directly in front of you. Upon entering, I was greeted right away and not left waiting which was a welcome change to many places I have been in the past. Jon took a few moments to speak with me ahead of time to ask where my problem areas were and about any pain I had been experiencing. Then he left so that I could undress and lie down on the heated (thank you!) and oh so comfortable table. From that point on, it was nothing but pure bliss. Was it a super soft and gentle Swedish massage like you’d get at a hotel day spa that may feel kinda nice but doesn’t actually DO anything? No. Were there moments where he happened to touch on a tender area that made me flinch a bit? Sure. But unlike most other therapeutic massages I’ve had in the past, this time I didn’t have to grit my teeth or practice Lamaze breathing in order to “get through it”. And I didn’t end up more sore the next day than before I had the massage to begin with (that’s the worst!). No, instead Jon has a way of taking his time with kneading and stretching your muscles into gradual submission, so eventually they just slip back into place, where they should be, rather than trying to force them to be there, which is not only extremely painful, but never lasts. And by the end of the massage, your body feels like butter. I don’t know if he has magic hands or if it’s the art of Thai massage, or maybe a combination of both. All I know is one second I was in incredible pain, and by the time I left, I felt like I was on top of the world. So would I recommend Noi’s? Yes! Would I recommend booking with Jon? 100% yes!! And if you are able to treat yourself and spring for the full 90 min session, even if it’s just once, do it. Trust me. You will come out completely transformed.

This was literally the best massage of my life. Jon is AMAZING. He knows how to locate all your sore spots and he also knows how to fix them. I can’t say enough about how talented he is!

I’ve been coming to Noi’s for the last few months and I’ve always had a great experience. Jon does an amazing job at working on problem areas and I always walk out extremely calm. I didn’t even plan to get a full body massage when I first booked with Noi’s and now I’m hooked! I highly recommend seeing Jon at Noi’s. 🙂

Tatyana was recommended by my partner. She is strong like ox! I legitimately asked her if she trained with an ancient Kung fu master. Really enjoyed her skilled execution. This is a legitimately therapeutic massage that will break up a lot of tension and get your body back to base line. Thank you!

I started getting massages at Noi Massage in Lake Oswego late September to focus on chronic low back pain, headaches, and to aid in recovery/general wellness after a series of surgeries. Jon has been my massage therapist and what I appreciate about his approach is that he takes the time to listen and focuses on the areas that need the work. I've gone in with a migraine and walked out pain free. Today, I went in with a good amount of pain and aches in my lower back and have felt total relief after the massage. I trust that Jon will listen and asks how I'm feeling along the way. He introduced me to cupping which has given me a lot of relief. I'm a big fan of hot stones, and the Thai Herbal Ball add in is a must! I highly recommend this spa, and Jon! (Bonus here is my insurance covers massage with a very affordable co-pay)

I have been getting massages my whole life. Jon is the best massage therapist I’ve come across hands down. Finding a therapist who can do true deep tissue has been a struggle. He is an absolute master at deep tissue massage, a one in a million therapist. It doesn’t matter if I come in hurting after a race or with a head ache. He customizes his massage to what my body needs that day. He is extremely professional and always makes you feel comfortable. He has a deep understanding of the body and seems to have an intuition for exactly what my body needs. He exudes passion for his work and wellness in general. Staff is very friendly. When I finish my massage they always have tea waiting for me. They take my insurance and made that process easy which is nice. I can’t say enough good things about Jon and Noi’s in general. I’m very grateful I found this place.

Jon is the most incredible massage therapist I’ve come across. I’ve been a client of his for years and have followed him to Noi because no one else compares. He has a profound understanding of the body and deep tissue massage. I also love the aromatherapy, hot stones, and other techniques he incorporates into it. Noi is such a lovely spot and all the staff makes you feel welcome. They also have an amazing Thai herbal treatment you can choose to incorporate into your massage. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
