Nora's Speakeasy

Loved the vibes and drinks here. Great ambiance in an intimate setting. They have seasonal menus with some fun stuff, but we stuck with the basic menu as they offer $10 drinks from 5-6pm daily for happy hour. My girlfriend really liked the Nora's Southside and I enjoyed the Nora's Buck.

A little “speakeasy” near downtown. In the basement it is a nice slightly dark bar. Unfortunately with the happy hour bells and it being Friday, it was busy enough that it is a bit loader than I would like. They had nice music playing but the size of the place makes people talking seem very loud and drown it out. A bar of about 6 seats and then a small variety of booths and Re is a private room near the entrance by the rest rooms. Nice drink menu with a selection of standard mixed drinks and then each got a “Nora’s” twist. They also have a rotating season drink menu and have a small bites menu. The coolest was they offer jars for purchase so you can make your own cocktails at home. They can get two fills of it to get the most out of your purchase. They only have one style but the bartender said they hope to make more styles. Plenty of nearby parking and close to more restaurants.

This place definitely has speakeasy vibes! You go downstairs into a basement and through a nondescript door and voila there is this cute little bar. Our drinks were fantastic. Our server was very slow. It wasn’t busy but it took 10 minutes for her to come back and get our drink over. When we were ready to leave, it took longer to get our bill paid. I’d rather just order/pay at the bar than have table service at a place like this!

Really cool downstairs place kinda hidden in downtown Louisville. Lots of unique drinks to try. Highly recommend to checkout for those looking for an authentic old-time speakeasy environment!

This place should be busy every night! The ambience is so nice. Cocktails were amazing. I especially loved "Nora's Buck". Definitely a must stop by in Louisville!

Super cool speakeasy with 1920s vibes in a modern setting. Cocktail, wine, and beer selection (we both got wine, didn’t try the snacks). Great music and comfortable seating. A good spot for a late night date night — we’ll be back!

Great spot for quiet conversations and tasty libations! Low-light, speakeasy vibe, unobtrusive but attentive service, and did I mention the drinks?! Fun, relaxed place to spend an evening.

Very unique spot, especially for Louisville. THE go to for our date nights, especially on a week night when things are a bit slower and you can enjoy a nice conversation. Cannot recommend enough.
