The owner was amazing, upon spotting me in my wheelchair trying to find a place to sit for my sight-challanged friend and I, rushed over to guide us to appropriate seating, stressing the businesses compliance with ADA laws, imploring us to just ask if we had any questions or needed any help. He was amazingly supportive, and frankly, a breath of fresh air in West Seattle. I've attempted evenings in a few West Seattle night spots, and at best, I usually get the impression that making space for a woman in a electric wheelchair isn't *that much of a bother*, as long as I don't expect the service afforded able bodied customers. The rest of West Seattle night spots should really take note of what a business honoring all of their guests equally looks like. I will certainly visit again, likely on a Wednesday when it's ladies night.

Outwest has solidified itself as a staple of the local gay community. I mostly come out for Wednesday night Karaoke which is technically a lesbian night but I've never felt anything but fully welcomed here. The karaoke host is friggin awesome and the regular crowd keep the energy up. Bumper is an excellent bartender and they have a decent selection of booze. This bar is more socially oriented and there are plenty of tables to sit at with your crew. It could be a little cleaner in feel but it's still above the average for a Seattle gay bar.

I love Outwest. It reminds me of all my favorite local bars back home, in the South. It's like I got to bring them with me! I always prefer a night at Outwest to a night a Seattle bar, and have noticed my friends really seem to be warming up the place too. The venue looks better all the time. The lighting and art have improved dramatically since the early days. The service has always been very good, but lately the cocktail menu has expanded, and the bar stock has as well. The mixed drinks are very well made, in my opinion, no matter who serves me. I've been meaning to write this review for at least a year. Outwest is a great place for West Seattle gays, and a great place for their downtown friends to come and join in the fun, too.

This is a super friendly place most of the people are so friendly and welcoming. Seattles lesbian scene is not the most exciting place I found my entertainment, However I have to say ,if you are from out of town visiting or a resident and want to have a fun time. If you enjoy singing karaoke ,then I recommend out west on Wednesday nights. Love the karaoke host !

I've been here about 5 times and the experience has been consistent. The drinks are good, the bartenders are very nice, the atmosphere is great. They have karaoke on wednesday night I think? It's a short distance away from the more concentrated area of California Avenue but it's definitely worth checking out!

To be honest, I've only been during HH / early evening and rarely on a weekend, but have had plenty of fun with my friends. Key words, "with my friends". Meaning that I haven't experience Out West alone. It would be hard meeting new people I imagine, like most places little clicks here and there. I don't think anyone has ever said hello when I've been waiting for friends to arrive. Don't get me wrong, the staff is great, it's very cozy and I would have given it five stars had the clientele been more welcoming of a new friendly face. I plan on going on a busier time, and truly hope that I can repost for that five star rating. Easy street parking, music level is good to enjoy and converse with friends, and fair on beverage prices.

The dudes are friendly, the ladies are plenty on Wednesday nights, and Thomas is an awesome, friendly bartender ++ I used to live in West Seattle and miss being able to walk there. But I'm going back, even if it is an hour's drive away now. Nancy
