Great neighborhood bar with a welcoming atmosphere. My husband and I stumbled in after a long walk and we were greeted by the funniest and warmest barkeep. Locals started pouring and the conversations were plentiful. Definitely returning next time around!

Popular neighborhood watering hole I frequent often as it's in my friend's neighborhood. Couldn't think of a place that matches its name more. I always have a good time and meet new people. Bartenders are awesome AF, they even half remember me even though I show up once every 3mo or so. They also have food at times outside, haven't figured out when exactly that happens, but it's always good. Last several times have been Filipino, but I've heard of the legendary Thai. Not that this place needs much hype as I regularly see it on Nola bar lists. Inside and outside will pack out on the weekends.

I truly could not be more offended by my experience here. The bouncer was actively looking for a fight with me and my friend’s group. Everything, literally everything, about our experience was abysmal. Please reach if you have questions because I will happily spend my life ensuring this business files ch. 11.

I really loved this bar. I had never heard of it. And will definitely be back. It’s a great neighborhood bar who awesome vibes. The bartender was super friendly and attentive and the drinks were cheap. Definitely give this place a try. It was crowded but not overly so. And the very chill.

Our small Band of Music Brothers discovered Pal's two years ago near our Airbnb while in NOLA for the Ponderosa Stomp. We'll back October 4 for this year's Stomp. Can't wait. Great drinks. Friendly folks working the bar. Pal's should be the template for a great urban social experience.
