I've been going to Pan on and off for maybe a decade now. It's a goth/alt scene with plenty of millennials so you won't be out of place if you're 30+ but will still have a good time if you're in your 20s and just starting clubbing. It's a safe environment and Lord Byron is a good host.

Imagine your local bar where everyone goes every week and its comfortable and welcoming, but meets a nightclub. The best place to go if you like 80s, industrial and dark wave type music. They also do retro and disco nights that are so fun. Anyone can go and feel welcome. The nicest most diverse crowd. Come if you are 25 or if you are 55 it doesn't matter as long as you like to dance and have fun.

Dallas' only Friday night goth club has a diverse and welcoming crowd. The DJs are always open to requests and the bartends take great care of us. Panoptikon usually happens in the ground-level dance floor that was once a bowling alley. An upstairs ballroom hosts special events on occasion (see the roller skating video from our Disco vs. Retro night!) Street parking is free and there are two outdoor smoking areas. I don't believe the historic Sons of Hermann Hall building is wheelchair accessible, however.

The best Goth Club in Dallas, and it being on Friday Nights makes it even better! Because of this, it is easy to attend regularly! They also regularly host special events for holidays, concert after parties, and so much more! Great place, great timing, great atmosphere, great people, and great music, who could ask for more??

My hubby and I love the Retro vs Disco nights. The only place in Dallas that we have found this music in a club environment. Also the 80’s music is very alt - not your basic 80’s. No judgement here and everyone is so cool and chill. The drinks are great! Could be a bit darker sometimes. We live for these events. Frees our soul!!

It’s been a year since Panoptikon opened in its current location, and it just keeps getting better and better. In fact, the only thing it still needs is a soup bar, but that can’t be helped. (No food here, but several places within walking distance, and lots of available parking in the vicinity.) Excellent sound and lighting, not one but TWO outdoor courtyards (fully enclosed), excellent bartenders and spectacular DJs, and a very mellow and friendly vibe all the way through. If you’re looking for a goth club in order to sneer at everyone else for being beneath your attention, keep walking, preferably into a volcano. However, if you’re looking for a drama-free venue with excellent music and the opportunity to make friends for life, get down there next Friday.

Discovered pan a few years ago and I can honestly say it’s been a life changer. Besides already being a huge fan of the music played there the people who go weekly are so kind and welcoming I’ve made life long friends. The djs are the best in the city and also the kindest

I've been going to this location since it opened and I've always had a good time. This is a great place to hang out and dance with other goth/industrial music fans.
