Love the music here! Busy but that says something about the club! Met the security manager, Lucy, and she was amazing. So nice to have female staff. She made us all feel incredibly safe and comfortable

I can't imagine somewhere I'd want to go less. Just as they killed their own reputation as a queer safe space, they've taken up the mantle to piss on the legacy of the VEC by expanding their clear disdain of queer people to what was until recently the best inclusive venue in town. They weren't great before and they're even worse now. Cover your drinks and make sure you're there in a night when the bouncers aren't looking for a fight and you'll be good! Pretty weird they made a big announcement and quickly closed comments about their new venture. Real life paparazzi are scum, the nightclub paparazzi lives up to its name.

The straightest gay club I've ever been to. I have never seen more people get drugged in one place than this establishment. I vowed to never come back and haven't since 2019. It has only gotten worse from what I've heard. Reply to the owner: You're not a gay club *anymore* because you didn't want to be accountable to the LGBT community when they called you out so we stopped coming and yall rebranded.

Every time I have entered this establishment I’ve felt welcomed and accepted. I don’t feel like I’m being judged for what I wear what I look like or who I’m with the entire experience is fun and always a great place. They have great entertainers and a fantastic DJ and the drinks are standard prices. If I had any complaint it would simply be that I wish the place was bigger and had bigger better bathrooms too lol

Staff is nice but could be more on top of security. When I was there I had a man bother me quite a bit. I kept switching tables and he wouldn't leave me alone. Eventually I left and he came out on the street, he was offering me money to hang out with the. When I said no thank you he called me transient and spit at me. I think this is not an isolated incident with this guy. I think he's a regular. Anyway, it's too bad I feel unsafe there. I'm going to try again tonight if there's karaoke but I am nervous he will be there and I'll probably say something to the bartender if he shows up. Karaoke host and possy are great. I like the vibe except for crazy bullies?!

Went for kareoke on a Tuesday, the vibes were good but the staff were very rude. The woman running kareoke wouldn’t let us queue songs and threatened to throw us out because we were dancing but didn’t say that to any of the men who were doing the exact same thing. Staff ruined the night.

I wish I didn't have to resort to writing a review, but after asking whether the new and upcoming space would be LGBTQ+ friendly I had my comment removed and was banned by their Instagram page. While the loss of the VEC is tragic, I feel that Paparazzi had an opportunity to rebrand and market to the LGBTQ+ community and create a welcoming, safe space for us in the VEC's old location. Instead, they are removing comments, restricting who can comment on their posts, and shutting out any concerns or criticism. This is highly unprofessional and homophobic. I have never, ever felt safe at their venue, and now know where their true colors lie. They do not pay homage to their roots, instead selling out to the highest bidder. If you are LGBTQ+, stay far, far away from this place. It is a place for straight college students, and no one else. This has been made abundantly clear by how they are comporting themselves right now. Shame on you, Paparazzi. I am not surprised by your course of actions, but I am thoroughly disappointed. Do better.

An unsafe environment, unless this space changes to be more inclusive I would not recommend going. I went once and did not feel welcomed, and the amount of horror stories I’ve heard from those close to me about being harassed by those going to the club makes me certain I will not be returning.
