First time going clubbing after turning 21, the people really make or break it! Saturday night crowd was amazing. So many happy queer people, everyone was having an amazing time. The reviews are all right though. It was hot AF!! There were fans placed around the venue, and they practically had a line by them. It was a hot day out which definitely didn’t help, so I have a feeling colder outdoor temperatures and a lighter crowd might make the inside less smothering. Bar tenders were stunning & so kind. Fast service, good drinks, generous pours! Average drink prices for our current economy. The decorations were fun, the DJ played a decent set with only a few mildly disappointing bass drops. I’d definitely recommend going for the crowd alone!

updates: Thank you for your response, but unfortunately, it completely misses the mark. Here are some key facts you seem to have ignored: The security guard himself was smoking right in front of the door. At the time we were yelled at, we weren’t even smoking. This was pure misjudgment and hostility on his part. Other people were smoking in front of the door without issue, and security did nothing to stop them. Instead of acknowledging this, you as the owner seem intent on deflecting and downplaying the discriminatory actions of your staff. this wasn’t just a misunderstanding. Your security treated us differently because we’re queer and people of color, and instead of addressing that, you’ve just deflected and avoided the real problem. It’s honestly shocking that you, as the owner, would handle this with such condescension. And just to add that music was terrible. Step it up. ------- had an awful experience here due to the unprofessional, rude, and discriminatory behavior of the security staff. After stepping outside to talk, we stood off to the side, away from the line and other patrons. Despite this, a security guard aggressively approached us, yelled at us to ‘get away,’ and falsely accused us of blocking the line. When we tried to explain that we weren’t obstructing anyone, he continued to raise his voice, ultimately refusing to let us re-enter the bar without any valid reason. As a queer, I felt genuinely threatened, unsafe, and unwelcome. Security staff are there to protect patrons, not misuse their authority to intimidate or harass. This experience was deeply disappointing, and the behavior I witnessed reflects a disturbing lack of respect and inclusivity. No one should feel this way at a place meant for community and enjoyment.

We've been to Papi's a handful of times. The first couple of times were for drag brunch shows, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The atmosphere is amazing and very welcoming of the lgbtq+ community. The one and only downside I've noticed is drink prices. The menu says one thing, but once you pay your tab, it's completely different. This past Sunday, we went for a drag show. I ordered (from the menu) a 16oz DRAFT Bud Light for $6. They didn't have Bud Light on draft, so I was given a 12oz bottle that was poured into a cup, and I was charged $7.28. That's absolutely crazy for a 12oz bottle of beer. The mixed drinks are good, prices for those are average.

The vibe is great at Papi's ! Super cute decor , really good food, and music. I love that they have a dance floor & bar upstairs and downstairs. Our waiter was nice & attentive as well. We stayed for the drag show tonight, which was fun. I'll definitely go back.

Way too hot on the upper floor when it gets crowded. Lower floor is more comfortable temperature wise but the music is too loud down there to hear yourself think. We went upstairs for the drag show and we had to leave halfway through the first performance cause my friend was starting to have heatstroke. Also the fact that the walls are covered in only RuPaul's drag race queens instead of like, local performers, is somewhat confusing.

Loved the $5 Margaritas for happy hour & fun karaoke vibes! Wonderful place for dancing or chilling with a fun crowd. Loved all the queer, friendly & beautiful bartenders. This is a Spot!

It's super fun here the only complaint is the heat. I get crowded places can get hot but it felt like there was no ac in there. Like it was cooler outside than inside. Otherwise a great place

Cuban food was great. Nice drink menu and decor. It was their first drag bingo night. Suggestion: the performers and staff should interact more with the customers.
