Pattaconk 1850 Bar & Grille

Came here for the first time with a few friends, we sat outside to enjoy our food and drinks. Service Was friendly and fast. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable.

The food and service was great. I loved the atmosphere sitting outside on the first day of fall. There was a little folk band playing live music outside across the street. For some reason we weren’t offered the main menu. We didn’t notice until after we ordered our food that other people sitting and us had larger menus to choose from. We were happy with what we chose so it wasn’t a big deal but I’m still curious as to what was on the big menu.

We had an incredibly sweet and professional waiter, Matt, who made sure we had everything we need, complimented our choices, and got all our orders perfectly. The food was decent. Pub style food, small portions but very tasty. Great appetizers, good drinks menu, and awesome vibe. Very cute place. Prices were fair. Cool scene.

Such a great bar with a small hometown feel! They had a make your own bloody Mary bar and the food was delicious. The staff was so nice and attentive. They made you feel at home. Definitely stop by if your in the Chester area.

A warm welcome when we first entered. You can feel the history of this place. A small menu usually means they take pride in making each dish to perfection, I can say that is true. They have daily specials that will blow you away. The ultimate brownie dessert was honestly the best brownie I have ever had, it was almost too much. I don't need another brownie for at least a month. The beer and cocktail menu was also amazing. A must try if you are in the area!

Best fish and chips of my travels! Thickest and freshest pieces of fish, 2 large filets! And the breading was authentic. Maizie our server was wonderful and the clam chowder a home run.

Food was good but we sat outside and the flies were awful! We had at least a dozen flying around while trying to eat our food. We asked to move inside before we ordered and our waitress told us they were just as bad inside. I can’t imagine they were. Should have insisted.

The staff here have been beyond fantastic. The food is good. The menu is simple but everything is well done. Joe the Bartender is one of the most friendly and dedicated bartenders I have come across. Try the hotdogs or the spring roll options. They are worth it. While the mug club may seem pricey you are getting way more bang for your bucks if you are a repeat customer. They have a waiting list. While on the waiting list to get a mug you get all the privileges of the rest of the club. Dogs are welcome in the outside seating area. They even have dog bowls for the pups. Overall a great place to call your home bar.
