Peace Through Massage

TBH, I am not a “massage” person. I only like my wife to touch me. Yes, it is a thing. I am here and reviewing on behalf of my wife. I have been the chauffeur as she has been recovering from surgery and the doctor recommended therapeutic lymphatic massage. It has helped so much. She has had great treatment and results with both of her therapists. They really are all very skilled and professional. Recommend them if you need special care and treatment.

Needed post op lymphatic massage and was wanting someone with plenty of experience. Im very glad I found peace through massage, specifically Shannon and Jackie. They were just who I needed and were so kind and informative when I had questions. The place is clean and nice but the customer service really set this place apart! Will always return and or recommend to others.

Jackie did my lymphatic massage, she is so sweet and caring. She is gentle and gives really amazing advice. She talks to you in such a loving tone. You can tell she loves her job and help people heal. Thank you so much Jackie. I will be returning this location.

Great availability and easy online booking process. They do same-day bookings! Which is great if you are a busy person like me, and unsure when you’ll be free in advance. Megan was my licensed massage therapist and did a fantastic job! She located all of my tension points and applied the perfect amount of pressure. Very apparent that she was well trained and methodical. Definitely going back to see her. Very reasonable prices and plenty of options for both appointment duration and massage technique. Highly recommend if you are in San Antonio!

The parking area is well lit and the Planet Fitness gym that is adjacent to PTM allows you to feel safe even during the early nightfall hours. Therapist: I had the Blessing to meet Ms. Becky Duenas. Ms. Duenas has a passion for what she does and you feel it! Her positive energy and attitude ensures her clients therapy needs are exceeded. I traveled to San Antonio twice in the last month and Shannon and Ms. Duenas worked around my schedule to ensure an appointment confirmation :). I highly recommend Ms. Duenas! There are people who do the job because they chose that career and there are people like Ms. Duenas who felt this was their calling in life. If you book the 60 minutes with her, you will regret not opting for the 90-120 minutes 🙂 Services: I had the deep tissue massage, foot spa and facial. I walked out the door with super soft and refreshed skin. Ms. Duenas found a lot of my tight spots from work and extracurricular activities. My therapist (a tall lady with colored hair) was really rough, I left the place with more pain that when I got in there. We got a couples massage but we were pretty clear that I needed a lymphatic massage before we booked it because I had a big lymph node inflamed in my neck. When she was done with my back, I wanted to make sure that she was going to do a lymphatic massage and told her and she told me she was aware. She then proceeded to do a weird very short (like 2 minutes) lymphatic massage only on one side of my neck (she even smacked her hand over my neck like when a doctor is about to put you a syringe) and then she continued the painful massage. I don't know if the lady was new or something, but I have had other lymphatic massages and that wasn't one. What a waste of money and time for ending 3 days with my body sore. At least my husband had a nice regular massage. Edit: I add a screenshot of my booking to let clear that it was at this location.

This place is my favorite, I had a very painful surgery. The doctor never recently mended lymphatic massages, After a painful month I learned about this massages to drain fluids. I tried several masseuses, the best of all is Dennise, she has wonderful hands, she tells me what to do at home and is very caring for my recovery. Her knowledge as a nurse and massage therapist it make a great difference. Thank you Dennise!!!!!!!

Oh my God what a beautiful experience I had today what a great Sunday to have an hour and a half massage with Shannon. I expressed to her that I want my hands and feet concentrated on and being a hairstylist. These are the areas that I suffered I would recommend this business to anybody that has a hard physical job.
