Visiting Kansas City, we discovered PT's Coffee after a walk from Union Station, having ordered online. Nestled in a charming neighborhood, this café was a delightful find. The staff were incredibly welcoming, enhancing the experience. Both the beverages and breakfast sandwiches exceeded our expectations. For anyone in the area, I highly recommend stopping by PT's Coffee. It's a genuine gem!

FREE COFFEE DAY! I ended up going during free coffee day and the coffee was amazing. Staff is great and the vibes are good. Street parking is available nearby and Internet is free. I will be coming back!

It's been a while I tried this location. Excellent single source espresso! My wife had a cappuccino. It was excellent also. This should be on my short list espresso shops.

Very good coffee. Unfortunately one of the baristas was very disrespectful ADDENDUM: November 18, 2024 I decided to give this place another chance. The morning barista is still very disrespectful. I went in being very pleasant and polite and he started harping on our previous encounter listed below, to the point where he threatened to bar me from the establishment. And for what? Me yelling on a public street venting my frustration for an establishment that was not open on time. There is no communication with this fellow. he has demonstrated no concern or interest in hearing another viewpoint other than his irrational interpretation of the situation. No amount of apology or agreeing to his valid points were able to get him to hear and acknowledge my viewpoint as I acknowledged his. I do not know what he is going through in life and sincerely hope he gets it handled but, I will not be going back and I would urge anyone else reading this post to not support an establishment that allows their employees to treat customers in this manner. ORIGINAL REVIEW Their business opens up at 6:30am. I was at the door at 6:30am and all the lights were off and I saw no one moving inside so I assumed, like many other establishments I have been to, that the person who is supposed to open it decided they would rather sleep in. I work 12 to 14 hours a day and if I am unable to get a decent cup of coffee, my day is shot. I am sure many of you can understand. That being said, because of this I got a little emotional and started yelling as I was walking back to my car. As I was walking off I saw the barista walking towards the door. I do not believe he would have unless he heard me bitching. When he opened up the door he said he didn’t appreciate me yelling at him. I told him I will yell whenever the hell I want as that is my right and I was not yelling at him nor would I. I explained how this has happened to me in the past multiple times and that’s why I yelled. Being the bigger man, I apologized to him if my yelling upset him as that was not the intention. He did not accept this and continued to act like I yelled at him and acted very disrespectful. I calmed myself down and tried to see his viewpoint, irrational as it was, and proceeded to make amends despite his attitude. He continued to be disrespectful. As I left I tried one more time to make him feel at ease by again apologizing if I unintentionally upset him. I would still recommend this place despite this. I would also recommend the owner of this establishment to educate their staff on customer service especially when the customer is trying to communicate and make peace. If a customer or anyone else is angry, relax and try to find out why and use good communication. You will probably find that it is a miscommunication and you will keep customers and keep from having bad reviews.

Stopped by PT’s while exploring the Crossroads neighborhood. Airy, spacious coffee shop with a nice selection of snacks. Loved the Peanut Butter Protein Bites—yummy and filling. I’ll already miss you This is a great place to work as well, WiFi and lots of space. Local artists on walls. Great espresso program.

Fantastic coffee shop. Many guests were working on their laptop or reading a book. There is background music, not loud at all to allow you to enjoy your lunch. Great lunch, breakfast, and coffee options. I had the ham/Apple sandwich and a cappuccino that were delicious. Nice and efficient staff.

I have been a regular at the Crossroads PT's Coffee for over 2 years. I just can't say enough good things about this cozy coffee shop! First of all, their coffee (especially latte's) are consistently outstanding. It is obvious they use the highest quality beans. I have tried almost every coffee shop in the city and nothing compares. The best part about this coffee shop are the amazing baristas! There doesn't seem to be much staff turnover and everyone there is so welcoming and friendly. They take time to get to know their customers and our names and coffee preferences. You are warmly greeted when you walk through the door and I always leave in a great mood because they make their customers feel special. This cafe is very well managed as evidenced by the quality and consistent baristas, as well as excellent coffee and food. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful space with lots of natural light and ample seating. However, the breakfast sandwich was flavorless and seemed like it was premade and simply microwaved to melt the cheese. Our lattes tasted watered down. We only saw one staff member there and he was curt in his interactions - not flat out rude, but certainly not welcoming. Despite hardly anyone being there, service was slow. High prices considering all that I’ve mentioned. Would not recommend.
