Punky's Bar and Grill

Good food. Great service. We got the Cuban with the sweet chili mac and cheese, and the Club with sweet potato fries, and a bloody Mary. The bloody Mary was perfect. My son didn't like the Mac n cheese, but I thought it was divine. Both sandwiches were tasty and good. We will definitely try it again.

Talk about an experience.. this place has a happy hour from 11am- 7pm and each perfectly mixed drink comes with a token for a free drink during those happy hours. Now on to the food. That stuff came out fresh off the heat and was ever so tasty. **They are part of the LGBTQ community, so if that lifestyle offends you then you're seriously going to miss out by not giving them a chance** The employees are exceptionally kind and helpful. A patron brought their dog inside in a carry stroller and the bartender brought over a bowl of water for said doggy!! So freaking sweet. Now if only I could move to St. Pete, FL and have this food and environment often. Don't worry, I'll certainly be back! Also the gayest store on the planet mobile unit is typically not there, we went during their weekend of Pride celebrations (which should be on everyone's bucket lists)

I always enjoy my trips to Punky's. The wait-staff is friendly. The food is always fresh and tasty.I really enjoy the option to sit outside in cooler days. Punky's is one of my St. Pete reliables!

Excellent food and service. Creative dishes and they give you poker chips for happy hour buy one get one free which can be used anytime later if you hold onto your chips. Full liquor bar and you supporters of the LGBTQ community.

When to Punky's Bar/Grill for the first time, was greated by Andy, He was very friendly and personable. I was to amazed to see that every staff member from the bartender to the cook, server are wearing a mask. That is so awesome to see that they really care about there guest. Than came Michael our sever he too was very personable and pleasant. We asked for recommendation on Burgers and Sandwiches, he was very honest with us. I had the Punky Russian, and Ozzie had the Punky's Cuban.Both sandwich was out of this world. I would of given them at 10. But 5 was the highest. I would really recommend this place. So if you havent been please stop by and say hello to Andy and Michael and have a bite to eat. Start with fried green tomatoes.

Punky's has great burgers and drinks. Great stop if you're looking for a great cocktail bar with great portions for a great price!

Great Margs (2 for 1!!), big menu with an interesting selection of sandwiches and burgers, and very friendly staff. Our server Steven was very attentive and gave us the full low down for pride weekend. We’ll be back to check our brunch!

When Punky's 1st open they had really good food and awesome service. Our last visit was for breakfast was a big disappointment. I had order the breakfast burrito which was cold and the homefries was greasy. Then the drinks that they served was only half full. Our waiter looked like he had a hangover from the night before and joked about it. With all the nice restaurant's on Central Ave. I definitely would think twice before going back to Punky's. 🙁
