We stayed at the Woodward one night and after walking through a bunch of bars, we stayed here the ambience was nice, and the cocktail and coffee martini at that point!! The rooftop is a nice touch, even the bouncer/security was cool and approachable. We were two ladies having a few drinks and in a nice environment. Thanks, if I have another event in Macon I'll stop by.

Cool place. Ashley the bartender is wonderful and very helpful particularly with dining choices. She used to work at Dovetail and can tell you all about it.

Quill at The Woodward is a low-key space nestled in the alleys of downtown Macon with a high-end literary inspired menu. Between the intimate bar room and accommodating rooftop this is perfect for a memorable night with friends. The rabble of downtown dies away within its compound, despite the Main Street being just a wall away. My drink was inspired by Alice Walker’s The Color Purple featuring elderflower and butterfly pea syrup ice cubes. The tall glass is a Youngblood, a mezcal tequila based drink inspired by Macon’s own John O Killins’ novel of the same name. For a truly unique time Quill offers a traditional absinthe service with a selection of absinthes. Just, beware the green fairy. Overall it’s a nice addition to the Macon nightlife and an gem of a bar with knowledge staff.

Such a cute bar! My husband and I went there on a whim one night while out downtown and we really enjoyed ourselves! The atmosphere is intimate but still fun. Our favorite drink was “The Heart is a Lonely Hunter” but we enjoyed all of the other specialty drinks we tried. We will 100% be back.

Far and away my favorite place I went in Macon!! Ashley and her team are excellent and super friendly. Awesome cocktails and eleven better atmosphere. Highly talented mixologists. Ask for a "Little Italy", you won't be disappointed. However, all of their cocktail creations are top notch. If you visit Macon and don't go here, you are missing out on a major gem of the city.

Beautiful low key, small lounge, great vibe! -think Speakeasy from the 20's. They also have an awesome rooftop area, great service and drinks. Wonderful Macon edition!!
