I have been coming to this wonderful establishment for 6 years now. Last Friday we celebrated the 33rd anniversary of the club with our friends here with multiple DJs and 2 amazing live bands! There are no words to describe the owners ( Rolando and his wife), amazing staff including security, DJ's and bartenders. They all always greet you and treat you like you are the part of their family. Different ganras played here guarantee you can find something for yourself. We love Mix Tape's Fridays ( every other Friday) which reminds me of my favorite Eurodance from 90's. Thank you for your continued effort and heart you put in this club Rolando Love Eli& Gosia

Fun bar for nerds and a nice set of inclusive events for everyone. There's games and a game night vibe on the second floor and the karaoke bar upstairs is comfortable. Thought I'm usually overstimulated this was the first in a long time I didn't have sensory overload. They randomize the karaoke list so you never know when you're up, and even the bartender sang. Food and drinks are typical expensive and decent for a bar. Nothing to write here about

Went to an event held there by Darkside. What a great venue, nice people. The staff was super friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Very easy to get to. Clean, good music and great fun. Would recommend this place!

I was there for Halloween. I didn't eat or drink anything so I can't speak on that but the vibes were great. That night there were 3 different DJs in 3 different rooms, all setting a different mood with their music choices. People were friendly. It's a cool spot, and I want to go back ASAP.

QXTs in Newark, NJ, is a long-standing staple for those in the goth, industrial, and alternative scene. Having been around for over 30 years, it’s a venue that has built a strong, loyal community. The club is known for hosting a wide variety of themed nights, from goth and industrial dance parties to themed events, live performances, and even occasional fetish nights. The venue itself is a mix of gritty, industrial charm with modern touches, providing a raw, underground vibe that's perfect for its niche crowd. The layout has a few different areas. The main dance area and bar on the main floor along with Area 51 and the Crypt downstairs. The lighting and atmosphere are usually dark and moody, perfectly aligning with the music and crowd it attracts. DJs play everything from EBM to industrial, darkwave, 80s, 90s, post punk and goth classics, making it a go-to spot for dancing the night away. The crowd tends to be a mix of diverse, open-minded people, welcoming to all who enjoy the subculture. It’s also a spot where people can express themselves freely, often with unique fashion choices, including corsets, leather, spikes, and all manner of alternative attire. The drinks are reasonably priced and the bartenders are friendly, and the service is quick, especially considering how packed it can get on popular nights. Some nights parking can also be a bit tricky, but with a little patience, you'll often find a spot nearby. Overall, QXTs remains a vital and beloved institution in Newark’s nightlife scene, especially for those into alternative, goth, and industrial music. It’s the kind of place where the people, atmosphere, and music come together to create a unique, community-focused experience. If you're into the scene, it’s definitely worth checking out, whether you're a regular or just visiting for the first time.

This is our home away from home, we were so excited when they reopened and had to get there as soon as possible to see all her friends and all the familiar faces that we’ve known throughout all the years. They have amazing DJs, fantastic bartenders, and a variety of rooms to choose from. Everybody is really nice and welcoming, this is a New Jersey and East Coast staple for the dark, goth, industrial, 80s, and more types of people.

This place is a phenomenon. A true gem hidden in Newark. I’ve never felt more at home outside of home. Fantastic music, people, atmosphere… not one complaint.
