Rascals Bar & Grill

I just really love it here. There’s always a place for me and always a happy face to serve me. The food is great, everything is great and the friendly atmosphere means everything to me. I’m an older single female and usually come for the fish fry on Fridays but everything I’ve had here is very good. I never get any weird looks for being alone and female whether I sit at a table or the bar and that means the world to me because sometimes I just want to get away. I would give them more stars if I could because I’ve been here quite a few times now and the service has always been second to none and that’s very hard to find these days. Always a pleasure to have a bite to eat or just chill out!

First timer! Had a great experience here! I had their special on Mother’s Day; burger and fries! It was Awesome! big burger on a big soft bun! Best burger experience. Lolita loved it too!

My husband and I always have the best time at Rascals! Great service, great food/drinks, and great atmosphere! Highly recommend their boneless wings or their Chicken Caesar wrap!

A good lunch spot with quick service.

Rascals is a local sports bar and restaurant located in a great location in Rockford Illinois. Located at the corner of a major intersection which made it easy to get in and out. Another plus is that we were in a camper with a trailer tow behind needed lots of parking and the parking lot had ample parking. Our waitress Kaylawas very attentive and came to our table at least six times during our one hour dinner visit which was very attentive. I ordered an IPA which is really good and she kept our Waters filled throughout the dinner. My friend ordered the chicken gumbo as a side soup and he said it was very good. IPA was delicious 16 and 24 oz. my wife had the special work which was the Pineapple Express spinach wrap which is notable because it had large chunks of chicken which was very unusual and delicious however the pineapple jalapeno sauce was a tad bit too hot for the average person. The jalipeno peppercorn burger was larger than expected, very spicy. I opted for the steamed broccoli and I was completely full. This place was definitely very delicious good service and good atmosphere.

We love Rascals! We try to make here every other week and the service is fantastic. Our favorite waitress Olivia always takes care of us and we all get to chat and have fun with her. Food is above average bar food and we love the burgers and sammiches. Also I think there are unlimited french fry refills?? Awesome. Steak fries (well done) all day. I would consider avoiding the pizzas with red sauce though. Last one we had was weirdly bad. The other za's are kinda fine with below average crust, but you shouldn't be ordering a pizza here anyway since there are way better options out there like Giuseppe's or Lino's or Pino's or Capri. Stick with the sammiches and burgers and apps and it'll be great!

Service was top notch and the place was hop'n busy!!! Our food was hot and very tasty. I ordered the quesadilla burger and hubby ordered thr four cheese burger. As an appitizer we originally ordered the onion rings but our server caught the possibility for my egg allergy and we switched to the loaded fries. We got there relatively early (5:30) the bad was setting up for live music as we left. We'll certainly be back!
