What truly sets this place apart is the atmosphere. With its dark, moody vibe, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great company. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for amazing drinks, tasty bites, and a laid-back, stylish environment.

The bartender is always so friendly! And great at giving recommendations! I live the queer friendly atmosphere, and they serve your check in a book!

We threw a Birthday Party in the upstairs room recently. The folks at the Red Door did a phenomenal job with the food, drinks, and our guests raved about the space upstairs. Chris was very easy to work with and accommodating. Highly recommend having a private party there if you’re looking for a spot.

Absolutely hands down one of the coolest places we've ever been. Bartender's were freakin awesome, cocktails were perfect and the atmosphere was really cool. We had such a great time. Food was delicious and served quickly. 10 out of 10. Will definitely be returning. I highly recommend the Oaxacillin for a cocktail, complex and tasty with a lethal side. 5 stars on all counts.

Came here as part of the RI Food Fights TacoMania and enjoyed our visit. Busy enough to feel comfortable, but quiet enough for conversation. Really liked the shrimp tacos as well as the deviled eggs. Drinks were good and service was excellent as well.

Go for: A bar that has legitimately incredible cocktails, consistently fantastic food, awesome music selection, and welcoming ambience that subconsciously harkens to another era. Avoid if: You're looking for some brightly lit, lifeless, ultra-modern price-gouging chain bar/restaurant. Something surprising: Two floors, and an outdoor patio? Sign me up. Reservation needed? No - get in where you fit in. Overall Experience: 5/5. The attentive service, dangerously drinkable cocktails, and crave-worthy food will leave you thinking about this place well after you're gone. I highly doubt there's a better bar in Providence. If you love quality cocktails and complex tapas, then this is the spot for you! A quaint and welcoming vibe here! The owners are personal and thrive in hospitality! We met the owners - Chris and Phil. They each came to our table to check on us And welcomed us. All the bar staff were also personable and working hard to make the best experience and drinks. We found our new favorite spot in providence.

I will be dreaming of the coconut shrimp tacos and sweet potato tots for a while, but unfortunately will never visit the Red Door again. The food was beyond amazing, but not worth the negative service experience we encountered. It wasn't just lacking, it was bad. We were greeted after a delay, and when the bartender brought our drinks, we ordered our food. While we were enjoying Food Fights tacos, we made sure to also order a reasonable amount of food and beer, to show support for the restaurant. When the food arrived, one of the dishes was entirely misprepared. We pointed out the discrepancy between what we had ordered and what we had received and the bartender said "Oh yeah. But will it kill you?" We pushed a little harder to have it remade and he relented. Aside from the initial order and the food/drink drop, the bartender never came back to the table. He walked past our empty glasses for two hours and didn't respond when we tried to flag him down. Despite wanting to order more, we were unable to. We never received napkins or silverware with our food and finally gave up trying to ask for it. After we finished eating, it took another 36 minutes to flag down our check. As a positive: The food we finally received was incredible. I'd consider ordering takeout if I ever regain any semblance of faith in this restaurant. We ordered the coconut shrimp tacos, steak tacos, the steak crostinis, and the sweet potato tots.
