This is a fun place, if you don’t shock too easily. Service was good. We didn’t do the brothel tour but the schtick is cute. The salmon dip is great! The nachos are the WORST good looking nachos ever. As you can see from the picture, there was no cheese under the top layer. They looked so good when they were served. VERY disappointing.

The brothel museum tour was informative but very short, under 30 minutes. The tour consisted of a 15-20 presentation and then a self guided walk through three bedrooms. Definitely not worth the cost of admission if you got it with a cruise excursion. I'm not rating the actual saloon or service because there was a 40+ wait for a seat. So I wandered down the street and had a nice time.

Yes, great experience. Just a 5 minute wait but worth it. The staff really enjoy working. The reindeer peppermint shots are a must. Bar is well stocked and lots to choose from. Quick and excellent service.

We came during a pretty bust time, so we put our name on the wait list, and we're called about 45-60 minutes later. The tables and chairs are super close together, making it pretty difficult for someone of a larger build to maneuver in and out of their seat. The table tops were extremely small and squished as well. We were a party of 4 and ordered 2 pizzas, nachos, and salmon chowder. Pizza was good, nachos were way overcooked. The cheese was just plastered on the chips. I thought it was just ours, but it looked like other customers had the same plate. Best thing was the pizzas. Overall, it's a good place to have a beer and basque in the nostalgia of it all, but pass on the food.

Stopped in the Red Onion Saloon during our port of call in Skagway, AK. This place was actually a real saloon during the gold rush and the staff wear period costumes representing a time of before. Our server was Scarlett and she was not only a good waitress, but also gave us a little history of the infamous brothel when it was operating as such. We ordered their famous salmon humus and it was fantastic and hit the spot. Likewise, the drinks were cold and very good. For a splash of Skagway history this is a really cool place to check out. Plus, the staff is friendly and courteous.

Fast service, waitresses in fun garb. Food was tasty. Place is packed. Upstairs is a brothel tour, $20. If a queue, the host will take your name and call you in when ready, we waited 20 mins in September.

Definitely a tourist stop, but then 99% of the people in downtown Skagway are tourists. A short wait and we sat right at the window. My wife had an Aperol Spritz and I had an Alaskan Amber. Chicken quesadilla and chicken bacon ranch wrap for me. A very expensive lunch $76.15 including tip but the service was good, and it’s all part of experiencing Alaska.

"Georgia Peach" was our funny and informative guide to the the town of Skagway. We all had a great time learning about the roles that women played in the history of the town. It was so nice to hear about history with a woman's perspective for a change. Definitely take this tour, it was really worth it!!
