Love love love this queer/gay bar! Definitely a hole in the wall neighborhood type of bar for the queer/gay Latine community. The bar accepts cash and credit and they do not serve food, but they allow you to purchase food from the food truck across them and bring it in (the food truck has the best deep fried quesadillas I've ever had in my life). The bar seemed pretty clean, I did not use the restrooms so I'm not entirely sure how clean they might be. Also, it looks like the use the women's restroom as an all genders restroom. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The bar is beer and wine only, but they do so sell white claws so that is more than ok with me. They can serve the white claws and beer in a glass with lime juice and a chamoy and tajin rim, it's the best! They have drag performers every weekend and are open every day of the week. If you want a chill atmosphere with friendly folks, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a club type of atmosphere, look elsewhere, this is a neighborhood bar. ❤️

Good atmosphere, casual scene, good mix of music/genres, there was one performer singing corridos and banda. They take cards with >$10 transactions. Got here around 1130p and it wasn't full but it is a small place.

Great local beer spot. The music is loud and the people are nice. After a bunch of beers, I was dubbed El Pollo del Muerte and paraded down 1st street in my thong. I can't remember much more, but I will say this--don't buy a late model Cadillac from Hugo.

Open since the 70's it's one of Boyle Heights oldest bars, perhaps the first LGBT bar in the area. It has cheap beer and a welcoming staff. Being a Boyle Heights local this place feels like home.
