River Roost

Wait staff all great and accommodating. Marc was very kind about a couple of our food allergies and large group of 9. Not a dazzling lounge like many Disney locations, but it is comfortable and decently priced. Free parking when dining here. You can bring in food from nearby food court and Marc even let me order a yummy French onion soup from the main restaurant. We left at 830p when piano entertainment started and it looks fun but too loud for conversation.

Nice small bar that is open to the rest of the hotel lobby. Kid friendly at the lower portion. Charcuterie board is a great deal for four people waiting for the piano show to start. Not too loud. Nice staff.

Located near Boatwrights is a cocktail bar that is quiet during the day but comes alive at dusk. They have a few different drinks specific to the location as well as a shared resort menu. The hidden gem is the entertainment and a colossal cheese plate to die for. Come for the drinks stay for the entertainment. They also have two tvs in the bar.

My rating is for the experience of seeing Yehaa Bob at the River Roost, not for the venue itself. The River Roost itself is a serviceable establishment with mediocre food, so we ended up bringing food from the quick service down the hall into the restaurant while we watched Yehaa Bob perform. And Yehaa Bob is THE reason to visit the River Roost. In fact, his show is enough reason to leave your other resort for an evening of entertainment at Port Orleans Riverside - it's that good! Our entire family enjoyed him, and he includes the audience in such a way like no other. He has some major piano skills, and he must have played snippets of at least 50 songs throughout the show (which lasted a long time, by the way). It was one of the most enjoyable things we did in all of Disney during our vacation this year!

The service was friendly and inviting, and the resort is beautiful. I would recommend SKIPPING the spinach and artichoke dip because the cornbread crostini that comes with it is tasted like dry, STALE, slices of polenta (about the thickness of pita bread).

Wow. The drink called the “smoked turkey” was an EXPERIENCE. Our waiter was polite, helpful and dressed to theme. I enjoyed watching trivia and the fish and chips was pretty good! Port Orleans is a hotel I would return to and same with River Roost!

If you look under 60 pln on being ignored and having to flag down a server Once i finally orderes it took another 10 mins for my drink and there were only 4 other people here

This place is great for an enjoyable, relaxing and fun evening. With Live Piano and Funny Singer Bob Jackson. Offers Bites and drinks. Amazing Staff and Atmosphere. Is a must at Disney.
