I really want to like this place, but it's in pretty bad disrepair. Only place like it in the region and it should be better cared for. I'm sure the many guys who frequent would love to pitch in and help fix the place up. Otherwise great guys, fun spaces and general all around amazing vibe!

Water fountain needs to be repaired, Jacuzzi is one of the main reasons I come and it was not working on Sunday during the first three hours of opening, and finally, the steam sauna was down too

Use to go to this place regularly when i lived in Albany. Was always fun and the crowd was always pleasant, no one was ever rude nor pushy. I haven't been back in over 5 years so cant speak to the renovations that occurred in that time.

We checked the hours of this place. Decided to go on a Sunday. We are from Rochester and drove over 4 hrs to get here just to have someone tell us it was closed because they COULDNT COVER A SHIFT! Very upset. Will never go here. EVER. And will tell everyone we know about this experience. Terrible, TERRIBLE business practices!!!!!!!

I have been to the RSC a few times over the years. While I am a member, I do not consider myself a regular. The club is spotlessly clean, that's the first thing I always notice ... the private rooms, the public areas, the dry sauna, the steam room, and the whirlpool are all well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. They take their time with you at check-in and when you check -out. There are about a dozen or so rooms on the first floor and maybe another dozen or so on the second floor. I've always found the other customers to be friendly and polite. People smile and say hello. The crowd is diverse to say the least- all ages, ethnically diverse (for Albany!) and all physical shapes & body types. It would be impossible to zero in on a specific demographic that would be reliable. I've always been challenged to figure out when it will be busy and therefore a good time to go. Good weather? Bad weather? Day time? Mid-week? Weekend? Night time? For me there has never been a clear pattern and that therefore becomes part of the fun. The image on the web site are accurate. The parking is free and well lit and the neighborhood, like anywhere, benefits for you paying attention to your surroundings. I believe this club has been owned by the same people for about 17 years and some of the staff have been there the whole time... that says a lot about the club and its management. Go. Have an open mind and a good attitude and you'll have fun.

Closes waaay tooo early for any juicy action to occur. This place should be open to midnight at most. It’s just hard to get here before close if you work.

Don’t go now. They are closed for renovations until 8/26. They did not announce this on their website nor on google that they are closes temporarily. I drove 27 miles to find this out. =/
