River Therapeutic Massage

Saturday (3/16/24) was my first time meeting and receiving a 90min massage by Karen. Firstly, her space is very clean, cozy, and provides a calm and relaxing atmosphere. She asked me exactly what I was looking for during our session and listened to my needs. She also took the time to read over the intake form and discussed my answers during our time. Karen did an excellent job relieving my stress and also relieving the tension in my back! I almost fell asleep a couple of times I was so relaxed. When it was time to turn on my back she placed a lavender eye-cover on me (asked for my permission first), a heated neck rest, and soft aloe socks on my feet. I'm telling you - this was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much, Karen! I will see you again soon for another 90 minute massage.

On top of being a fabulous and professional masseuse, Karen is such a wonderful soul! My partner booked a 90-minute massage for me knowing that I was hurting while we were on vacation in Beacon, and I left Karen's feeling as if I'd walked out of a dream. She was so considerate and especially attentive when it came to all of my problem areas. Her place is so lovely and cozy as well--such a very relaxing environment. I so wish I lived anywhere near the area, because this would quickly become a weekly routine. Can't wait to go again once we're back in the area to visit family!!

So glad I chose to get a massage with Karen, as I was able to finally, truly relax for the first time in (a few very stressful) weeks. The room was cozy and quiet, and I especially loved the different heated elements she incorporated into the massage (hot stones, comfy warm socks…). The amount of pressure was exactly what I was looking for, too. I don’t often get massages, but I’m already thinking about returning for another one.

Just had a massage with Karen on Sunday and it was an incredible experience! Her skillful touch left me feeling so much relief from the aches, pains, and stiffness I started with. Not only was the massage itself effective and enjoyable, but the setup of the room, lighting, temperature, and music were all so soothing and peaceful. I also love how Karen allows her clients to take the lead in regard to how much they do and do not want to talk during the massage. She is very knowledgeable in answering any questions and she is mindful of making the experience as comforting for her clients as possible. Can’t wait to go back for my next!

I had a wonderful prenatal massage on Friday at Karen's beautiful and cozy space. I'm 37 weeks pregnant and went to Karen with a sore back and shoulders. In the middle of her working on my back I fell asleep! My first time falling asleep during a massage. Karen is so professional and gentle, her touch made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She listened to my suggestions and requests without hesitation. It was a great experience and I will definitely recommend her for prenatal or any other kind of massage. Thank you Karen!
