Rivermill Bar and Grill

I really like this restaurant. I got the Philly steak and cheese. The sandwich was delicious and the fries were amazing. The ambience is really fun and I would definitely go here again. The staff was very friendly and the prices are fair. It would be a fun place to watch a game and play pool.

It is a college bar (and map company) and looks like one. This place has the chill happy vibe and is always a go to. The BBQ chicken tacos are the best I've ever had - and Im fat. Go here.

Atmosphere was great, and the machos are not meant to be eaten alone. I'm so full after eating it myself. The chips are homemade, I'm pretty sure. Some of them were overcooked, but for the most part, they were really good. I don't recommend getting it with taco meat. There were more beans than meat. That bummed me out a bit. I would go back to eat a burger and tots.

Not sure if a unique situation... but came to visit in Blacksburg... went here for first time to have dinner . There were maybe 8 people at the bar and of course the bar tender was there. The rest of the place was completely empty. My husband and I sat at a booth. We sat there over 5 minutes. Completely ignored. The bartender was chatting with the patrons at the bar. We were not greeted, ever acknowledged, asked if we wanted to place an order etc. We waited a few more minutes and just left. What the heck?

They gave us darts yet didn’t have chalk to keep track of the game. Otherwise, fine.

The people here do not want to do any work or make any money for the restaurant. Probably the worst experience I’ve had going out in 5 years. On top of ignoring us, the mid 30s looking overweight female bartender was straight up rude to us when we asked for help.

Love this place, very much a chill bar scene with good vibes. Seriously miss the back room that had pool and a few games, that was always a good time. It's still a killer spot with great staff. Don't forget to bring tip money you hooligans.

Great pub food and an amazing beer selection with free pool and darts.
