I recently visited Rocks Lakeview, and it turned out to be a pretty solid experience. The place has a laid-back, neighborhood vibe, which made it a comfortable spot to hang out. The menu offers a good variety of pub food, and I found the burgers to be the highlight—they were juicy and cooked just right. I also tried a few of their craft beers, and they had a decent selection. The cocktails were good too, but nothing too fancy. Service was friendly and quick, which was a big plus, especially during the busier times. One thing to note is that it can get a bit loud when it’s crowded, so it’s not the place for a quiet meal. That said, if you’re looking for a casual spot to grab a bite and a drink with friends, Rocks Lakeview is a solid choice. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is good, and it’s definitely a place I’d return to for a casual night out.

The service, drinks, and atmosphere were great but the burger had no seasoning whatsoever! It had brie and arugula which are two funky ingredients, to not season the meat just made the whole burger taste like fart. It was a little disappointing. The fries were outstanding! Perfectly cooked, nice and crispy.

Best old fashioneds in Chicago!! My family loves to come eat here when they visit! Fun outdoor patio space. Fast service and delicious food! Highly recommend the sweet potato fries! Rocks is a neighborhood staple!

We attended as a family. They didn't have pasta so we brought pasta from just down the block for our kids. Management came to our table after we had been seated to let us know our children could not eat food from another establishment in their restaurant. So, my wife packed the food and went back to the restaurant where it was purchased so the kids could eat. I expressed my disappointment with the server (Joe) and he told me they had a kids menu and I could leave if I didn't like it. They/he decided to replace our server, who was very nice! Family friendly, ???? Questionable. Food was okay. Forgot part of our order, the bourbon chocolate cake was tasty but dry. The HB stein was nice!

Wish I could review the food but last night’s bartender ignored me and my friend sitting at the bar for 15 minutes before we decided to leave. Instead, he enjoyed watching the football game with another patron (despite making eye contact with us several times). Would definitely avoid.

Love this place so much. It’s my “Cheers”. Super friendly people, chill place to hang out, great ambiance, fantastic beer & liquor selection, food is delicious.

During a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant, and I'm so glad we did! We decided to stop in, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a casual catch-up with friends. The refreshing salad we ordered was delightful, providing a nice balance of flavors that was incredibly satisfying. It was just what we needed after a day of walking around. Additionally, the drinks were really impressive – they were well-crafted and added to the enjoyable atmosphere of our visit. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and made for a lovely afternoon. I look forward to returning and trying more from the menu!

Have a few vegan options clearly labeled, and staff is helpful as well. great atmosphere good taste
