If there’s one thing America is missing, it’s a third place—somewhere away from home and work, where you can disconnect from the harsh realities of the world and connect with real people. Luckily, I have found my 3rd place: Rodbenders. This place is always filled with great energy, the staff is ready to serve, and the food is ready to impress. Having stood the test of time, it was here long before me and will be here long after. Like any true South Florida staple, it’s got heart and it’s got soul. When you go, visit on a Thursday and ask for the gorgeous blonde —her name might be Michaela. She not only has a rocking body but always greets you with a smile and refills your drink like a sneaky minx before you even realize it’s empty. My order in the attached picture is the delicious, savory, juicy lemon pepper wings with what are probably the world’s best onion rings. As someone trying to expand their taste in onions, these were my enemies-to-lovers. How can an onion ring be so light, crunchy, and juicy all at once? And all at a great price. Best Service and Drinks I’ve had in a very long time. The Bob’s Spicy Margarita is amazing and the Crab Cake Sandwich was out of this world! Can never go wrong with Rodbenders food and service. Barbara was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back next Sunday!

We came here after a soccer game with seriously 15 adults and 13 kids and Tiffany was AMAZING. She gave us the best service and was fast and courteous and so nice. Food was good and heart, great portion sizes. We will be back!!

My wife and I stopped here to grab a couple of beers and some wings, we walked in and sat at a high top by the bar, after about 10 minutes or so the waitress comes and asked if we wanted something to drink. After we got our drinks we wanted to put in a food order but she never came back to take our order. It was obvious that she was tending to the regulars that are there often cause she would only go to their tables and talk to them. After we finished our beers I got her attention and she came to the table and I'm sorry I was a little busy. I guess having conversations with the regulars constitutes you being busy. So I asked for for my tab and she said I thought you wanted to put in a food order, I told her yes I did 20 minutes ago. So I guess if your not a regular there you might just get really slow service. The crazy thing is that it wasn't that busy at that time, but o well. I paid for my 2 beers and went down the road to the sand bar and had some beers and wings there.

This is my favorite go-to restaurant with friends. We love it. The staff is great... The food and drinks are fabulous! Full menu and full service bar, priced right for freshness and oh so good seafood and more. The atmosphere is nice and not too loud. My goal is to try everything on the menu, eventually . I am looking forward to my next visit very soon.

The place is run by a bunch of rude children. Walked in and was told by the front to find a clean table. Should have walked out then. But I was told this place was good, they must have been drunk! It took 20 minutes before someone came by after finding a clean table. Staff playing games with each other. Overpriced and small portions. The service: rude girls who argue with you about what you order. When asked if there were any managers here. Was told no, that there was no one in charge there. You get a choice of fries with the dinner but have to pay an upcharge for shoestring fries that come undercooked. The fish was small and tasted bad. The plate was hot, but the food was cold. Over Price apps. When served the apps, the plate looked half eaten already. The coleslaw had changed colors once you opened the container, smelled old and rotten. Could not finish anything they served including the coke which tasted funny as well. I hope I don't end up with food poisoning.

$25 after tax and tip for a mahi sandwich, with water out of the pipe

Four tables of unattended screaming children wearing Rodbenders shirts climbing over booths, throwing napkins, chugging salt in shakers, running everywhere abd bumping into people's chairs. PLAYING IN THE DRINK STATION AREA AND CLIMBING INTO FIXTURES. Unacceptable for management to leave servers to deal with this on a busy Friday night! Never coming back, couldn't hear anyone at MY OWN TABLE but I heard everything at all of theirs, portate bien POR FAVOR if you can run a business you can find a babysitter for goodness sake.
