Rose Bowl Tavern

Attended two shows for the Pygmalion Festival. Venue was a fun and intimate place to see live entertainment and enjoy some great beers on tap! Safe, free, well lit close parking was a bonus. Many food choices nearby.

I love the rose bowl, Ive been a regular for a few years now. The environment is very friendly and they're always hosting fun events. Their the best nightlife spot in Urbana and they are an ally. They hose pride events and a lot of my fellow queers, gays, and thems hang out around here. Only complaint is that their sour selection is not good. 🙁 as an advice sour consumer I wish they carried more and better choices. Maybe some Distilled sours or the dutchess . Anyways if you haven't check out the rosebowl - look on their website to see which events are coming up, the live music and DJ's are great!

I lived in small mountain towns in Colorado for a long time and this is the closest thing I have found East of Denver that matches the quality of that vibe. Having live music every single night of the year, as feasible, is incredible and rare. Tonight, they had three people that had never played together and it was one of the best sets of music I've ever seen. They didn't know each other and it was so fun to watch them figure each other out and when they hit that perfect note it was magic. I feel privileged to have seen it. I recommend grabbing some dinner to-go and support your local artists. You never know what you'll see and I have never had a bad time. TIP! THESE ARE THE PEOPLE WE NEED TO SUPPORT

Great atmosphere, great service, and they are bringing in some great bands. They even have family friendly events fairly frequently. This Rose Bowl deserves a parade!

Interesting place to walk in and see / hear bands play. We were tourists in the city and glad we stopped in versus another sports bar . . . Although with "Rose Bowl", I originally thought that was what it was.

If these walls can talk. A great old school tavern. Listing to The B-Sides! Great local band!! Good times.

Laid back atmosphere. Live music every day!

We went to the Rose Bowl to see some music and we were not disappointed. The concert was in a tent in the parking lot. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. Several picnic tables were available, we took advantage and brought in some food from a nearby restaurant. The staff was really helpful, the drinks were reasonably priced, parking was easy and the facilities were clean. I would love to go again.
