Rowdy Hall

Nice little spot on the strip - Food was good overall; but my wife's chicken was a bit underwhelming. Burger was tasty, but a touch overpriced for the offering. I understand it's the Hamptons, and you've got to keep up with the Kardashians - just that a little more goes a long way. Servers were great and attentive, which is definitely a positive. Fries were on point - I'll definitely give them that. My daughter enjoyed her fish and chips, so again - not a bad experience, just possibly an 'off' day for the kitchen. We'd probably visit again when the schedule allows.

I ordered the unique take on a salad. Loved it. I had a bite of my friend's tuna and it was really special. Four of us shared the s'mores dessert plus the peanut butter ice cream. Uh-mazing. We went a second time and the food was wonderful, but our server must have been new. We waited around a long time for her to come for the dessert order (she was just standing by the computer chatting with somebody forever) after which she told us that the peanut butter ice cream was sold out which put us all in kind of a bad temper. I did end up ordering the chocolate cake which was absolutely delicious (but I was really hoping to have it topped with peanut butter ice cream). Once she finally brought the checks upon request, they haven't been divided properly, she billed for water, etc.

Great service and overall vibes. We had a round of drinks that were good along with some wings. The wings were your typical bar food and nothing special. Annabelle our server was super nice and informative when giving suggestions and came to check on us often.

Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience last night at Rowdy Hall. I ordered the fried chicken special. I asked the server if there was white meat and he said yes, there’s always a piece of white meat. When my dinner was served, I noticed it contained 2 thighs and a wing. The server apologized and took the dish back. The manager came over and explained the pieces are the chef’s choice. I said I just wanted a piece of white meat. After a while, the manager said a new dish was being prepared and would be out soon. The server then brought out the exact same dish that I was originally served. I’m very disappointed … used to like this restaurant.

Delicious meatloaf! Service was excellent. We had my 17 month old grandson with us, and they were very sweet to him. They wouldn’t let us clean up the food he dropped on the floor. Just very kind.

After a third visit to Rowdy Hall this summer, it appears that RH is still finding its way in its new Amagansett digs. The service on the floor has taken a hit. The folks at the front door are not terribly professional. They often are looking down at devices instead of up at the guests or at the floor. The wait staff, while super friendly, each have a large set of tables to care for. As a result, you find yourself wondering if you should leave the table to seek out staff — we did this when getting a drink and a bill. The front staff and manager could do well to support the stretched staff. The food is uneven. Some of our food — burgers when they finally came out- was burnt. The mussels left one of us sick. We waited nearly an hour for main courses. This was true, too, for one of neighboring tables. The fries are still really good! As are the burgers. We hope that Rowdy will get it’s groove back.

We waited an hour for our mains, by the time the meals came were getting up to walk out, so we just sat and tried to eat, the steak was rare although I had ordered medium (so I wasn’t charged for the steak). I received nothing else other than an apology after my two young kids, myself and my wife had to sit there idle for an hour waiting for food that came out incorrect and not eatable. Even the fries were terrible! It’s unfortunate because the starters and smaller plates were nice, not great but nice enough. We wouldn’t come back here again.

We stopped at this restaurant yesterday, we were very disappointed.Although the food was excellent the service was dismal The water was warm and we asked for ice several times and never got it. The cocktails were mixed up and not prepared correctly. We asked for some more diet Coke to cut the rum in the original drink and got another diet Coke with even more rum , and was charged again for another drink which we never wanted. I know the name of the bar is Rowdy but the noise level was out of control actually so loud that I wound up getting a headache. Please look into these issues
