Ruff's Wings & Sports Bar

Their menu options are so unique compared to your average sports bar & I love that! Food is amazing, and service was great!! Kathy our server was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond! We will definitely be back!

The food and service was good. We visited for supper with a family of 6. Service was fine and the entrees were tasty. The chicken taco theme leaned towards oriental flavor seasonings; spicy with cabbage and carrots. The Parmesan garlic seasoned boneless wings had more vinegar than we prefer… out taste though. Burgers were good and cooked to order. Overall our expectations were met, yet not exceeded and we were satisfied.

Stopped by this past Saturday for the first time as we are from out of town. Seated right away but it took awhile for our server to get to us but we had already found what we wanted to order. Asked a question about the wing sauces but she said she had only had one of them and had no idea about the others. Took a chance and ordered Parmesan garlic Chicken and Fries, as well as the Beehive burger and a kids corn dog meal. Food took a bit as it was getting busy, but not too bad. First: Beehive burger was piled with barely warm pulled pork and 5 sad cheese curds, and little sauce. Mediocre. Parmesan Chicken and fries had a large portion but the flavor was strange almost like vinegar??? Most of the fries were quite soggy. Kids meal was fine. The French fries with the burger were excellent but that was about it. The biggest disappointment was the fact our server never came back to check on us once after delivering the food. Thankfully we didn’t need a refill on the waters only because the water was awful. We had to flag her down for our bill and it took forever. She kept saying she was so sorry it was so busy but it didn’t seem like the severs were stretched with too many tables. For the prices we paid we expected better. Note there is a mandatory 3% fee added to the bill to “comply with various government mandates” whatever that means. I’ve seen most restaurants with credit card fees but this was a new one to me. $50 out the door with the small tip I left for a really poor experience. We won’t be back if ever in this area again.

Really good burger did not disappoint. The wings are fried fresh. The dry seasoning we had was terrible. The description from the menu was definitely wrong it was not spicy or had any vinegar to it. The whole area is extremely dark which I do not understand why. Definitely come back due to the food!

Ruff's Wings and Sports Bar is exactly what it says it is. They have wings and sports. They do everything right, the food is well priced and delicious! I had the Ultimated Burger, this burger was massive! Chicken tenders on it and all the fixings. Absolutely superb and will absolutely get it again. My partner got the Chicken n' Wings. Now I have never seen these two items mixed together and served together with cheese on top, but let me tell you this. It works. Stop by and try this place out or come again. You will not be disappointed. Staff was friendly and on point. I will be going back next time I'm in Wilmer.

We visited on a busy Friday night. Our table had good service from the friendly staff. We had our order taken and served correctly with our big group. Food was delicious and drinks were great. Wings and burgers were on point!

Carryout to our hotel room.. typical sports bar setting, hostess was nice and friendly when taking our order. The boneless wings were huge and the BBQ mustard sauce is to die for!! I need that sauce in my life.. to bad I live to far away

The menu here is good and I didn't know what to order. I chose wings because it's in their name. I got a lot of food for my money but my wings were a bit dry. The Bloody Mary my wife got was very good! They have a few good beers but it seemed like I had to pry that fact or of my waiter. Later a saw the list in the wall, but most people are not in a place that they can see that list. Overall it was a pretty good experience. I'll likely try visiting again.
