Saint Lazarus Bar

I absolutely love this place. The only place to me where EVERYONE is included. All types of music for your tasting. I love to dance here. I love it because everyone is so nice and just cool. It do be packed but I always manage to have a great time. Never had a bad time. Yeah I left out drunk at times but isn’t that the goal some day?

This establishment deserves a higher rating than google would allow. The Saint is a staple of the Philadelphia community & embodies what Philly is all about. From its under-the-El location, to its metaphysical aesthetics, to the attentive & friendly staff to the top notch DJ’S & (most importantly) the crowd, this place is where it’s at. If you’re from out of town (or local & curious), stop in later on a Tuesday night or roll in Thursday-Saturday for a serious vibe, you won’t be disappointed.

SO MUCH FUN! We went on a Saturday night (3/23) and it had some great music from the DJ all night. Great atmosphere inside where everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Everyone there just came to dance and drink with zero drama! Can’t comment on the service or the drinks but I sure its all good!

I attended the 10th year anniversary party slash 4th block party and it was wauppin The lemonade at humpty dumplings fire . And they had bbq from the fly cafe EsCafe located on American and Jefferson Music was chill and hype enough to get ppl dancing so definitely a great time I will def be back and recommend u catch a event there ‍ ️

Bouncer stole the knife they confiscated when I walked in and the other bouncers seem to indicate this was common practice/I should not be surprised it happened? Strange experience, beer was fine. YMMV

This is a small establishment that attracts a decent crowd on Fridays. The drinks are ok and acceptable for a spot like this one. The happy hour specials on drinks are decent but not worth driving across town for mind you. The design of the place is the real standout and it makes the establishment along with the drinks a complete package. I would come here again and if you happen to be in the area stopping in wouldn't be a bad thing.

Just went to watch open mic night. It was upstairs, and it was a smaller area with a bar and seating. It was a little hard to move around as the room filled up. May wanna get your drinks as you enter. Didn't have a chance to try the food. Had a good time and will return.

The cash only part threw me off a bit (isn't a thing in my home state) and prompted long ATM lines. Otherwise, great vibes, fun crowd, good music, and some cool eclectic decor. Would definitely check out again.
