Sand Bar

I recently visited the Sand Bar at 130 Washington Ave, in Wisconsin Dells, WI. It was a quiet day when I got there shortly after opening. The bar/restaurant is very clean and has a nice bar where I ended up sitting watching TV and talking to another nice guy, named Greg. I was served tiny and we had a nice discussion on beer. I inquired to what I should order and the choice was a delicious steak sandwich. Very tasty.

The bartenders were so friendly and helpful!! The cheese curds were delicious and I would definitely get the grilled chicken sandwich again They also have darts and a pool table Overall, a great place to get a drink, grab some food, and just hang out

The fish had a great crunch and moist inside. I ordered the small potatoes and wish I hadn’t. They taste like they didn’t wash them. If you would toss them in butter and Parmesan they would be good. I would recommend this place minus the baby potatoes. The service was a 10 out of 10.

This place is much more chill than the more touristy spots that are a couple of blocks away. Food is mostly standard bar food. We had the patty melt and chicken tenders - both of which were very good. The guy behind the bar was very friendly and attentive. We had planned on just stopping by for a quick bite to eat, but wound up just hanging out and chatting for a lot longer. Would definitely go back if we're ever back here again.

It was decent but based off of other nachos and cheese I’ve had they don’t compare. Cheese was super cold and most of the top chips were soggy. ALSO,I’d keep an eye on how they clean their dishes. Because my Mountain Dew was brought to me and there was 2 black specks floating around

Excellent service and the food was fantastic. Start off with the garlic cheese curds! A steak sandwich whose recipe hasn't changed since the 1950s, excellent flavor. I had the fish sandwich, I added some cheese and sprung for the baby bakers. Our server Tommy was amazing! Two thumbs up!!!

I had the Texas-style BC with fries, and it was delicious! The server was fast and super friendly. The only downside was the karaoke—some of the women singing were a bit too high-pitched, which hurt my ears. Other than that, it’s a great place to visit!

Don't hesitate go to The Sand Bar! It was great! Our bartender Julie was so cool, super kind, great personality We really enjoyed chatting with her! The food was was delicious! Fish Fry was better than most spots in Milwaukee (where we're from) Anyway Go! Just go and hopefully Julie is there when you do! We also had the wings and chili cheese fries, both also tasted great!
