Instagram: @AllAmericanJock Great new addition to West Hollywood, replacing Gym Bar that moved up the street. Scmitty's is a little bit away from the main bars and nightclubs clustered around Robertson and San Vicente. So does it has more of a neighborhood feel than those venues. It's smaller and more intimate, but very cozy with dim lighting inside an on the heated patio. Great for a gay meetup, if you're just looking for a cocktails and not a full-blown date. They also have a DJ some nights who is really good, spinning millennial-era hits, not just thumping circuit like many gay bars. The jukebox on nights with no DJ is also hot. Drinks here are a bit expensive like everywhere in West Hollywood and Los Angeles, but the drinks here are at least really good. The custom cocktails are awesome. Cool spot overall.

I found this hidden gem in search of a Grand Ma Mule if you know, you know. Nobody could fix it correctly around the area. The bartender at Schmitty’s made it perfect and the welcoming energy with the free shot on top of the amazing sound of the music playing in the background It’s return-worthy. Clif ♉

I am writing to provide feedback on my recent visit on Thursday night, June 27th. While I generally enjoy my experiences at your establishment, my most recent visit was disappointing and went beyond minor misunderstandings. Upon arrival, my friend and I ordered a round of drinks. My friend requested an old fashioned, and when he asked the male bartender to add a few cherries, the bartender rolled his eyes and added only one cherry. Later in the evening, as the temperature outside dropped significantly, I noticed that none of the outdoor heaters were on. I approached the same bartender and politely asked if he could turn one on. His response, "No, it's summer right now," was delivered with noticeable attitude. When I mentioned that the temperature had dropped, he simply walked away. Thankfully, Maya, the manager, was very kind and promptly turned a few heaters on. I understand that everyone has bad days, but the bartender's attitude was unnecessary and detracted from what is usually an enjoyable experience at your establishment. I hope you will address this matter to ensure better service in the future.

Schmitty's is my go to bar in West Hollywood. There's a bit of a 90's vibe, a little tiki, a whole lot of friendly, and just a cool place to hang out and chill. During the week you've got open mic and karaoke, and being Hollywood adjacent you know you are getting the best of the best. At the weekend it's the kind of place you either come to if you a) don't want to go clubbing but want to hang out, or b) want a chill out atmosphere before hitting the club vibes. Everyone is welcome, and everything goes.

This is a hidden gem in WeHo, located slightly north of the main strip. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the bartenders were efficient and friendly.

Came in the other day and had THE BEST TIME! Jarrett was the bartender and Miles was the barback! The energy with the dynamic duo made the entire experience that much more elevated. My fav place to come for great happy hour with a great looking staff! CANT BEAT IT.

I had two beverages about two weeks ago. The first one I remember I was excited about but it ended up being watered down and bland. The second one sounded interesting, a frozen aperol spritz of sorts. I loved taking the first sips, you got the experience of sweetness without it being too sweet. Just be mindful of the aperol aftertaste. The vibe is still figuring itself out. It was 80s music, I believe, and a decent DJ. Nice patio area with plenty of heaters, the inside is spacious. It feels like they’re expecting to fill it up with more people as there wasn’t much seating inside and the music was loud, but it’d be nice to sit inside. There’s a piano and I’m curious on future events around it.
