Shore House Bar & Grill

I was so hopeful for this place. There’s a barnacle on my mussel pot of which 1/3 were dead. Clams were not separated and had too much shell in it, the oysters! I had to spit out an oyster because it tasted so funky, they were not separated properly and there was also too much shell in it, for $48 for 12 oysters! I’m so disappointed!!! Flatbread sauce was good but needed more time in the broiler to melt the cheese, fried pickles were perfect. Never again, learning experience. Expensive lesson.

I cannot even begin to explain how amazing this place is! Food was absolutely delicious, ambiance is amazing, and the staff was incredible! I highly recommend the Burrata Bruschetta appetizer! We chatted with AC while there and he recommended the dish I ended up ordering (Southern Fried Chicken Wrap with truffle fries), and the steak tidbits were amazing as well. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!!

My husband and I very rarely have a weekend off together, that being said we decided on a beach day! Well, the weather turned chilly, the day was foggy, and we decided to bar hop. We went to multiple bars to try and find our happy place, and found them all lacking. However, our one last stop til the train back to Queens happened to be Shore House. Thank the sweet baby Jesus for this place. The husband and wife bartender team are so friendly. They’ve accumulated regulars that share that same vibe, and welcomed us outsiders with open arms. Hands down our new go to place when coming to Long Beach.

Bartender was fantastic. Price point is high. Atmosphere 4/5. Excellent service, would return for the service alone. Food was good 4/5. Bartender handled packed bar alone on a random Tuesday like a champ. Thank you for the great service!

I ate there today. I wasn’t impressed. I had a piece of round cardboard in my meal. I brought it to the waitress… she then showed it the chef and that was it. The water you serve from the tap is super chlorinated as if the water came from swimming pool. My wife’s rice was not cooked thoroughly…. The rice was hard. The bill was $90 dollars and I didn’t tip . I felt bad tho … the waitress was very nice.

A great place to grab a bite, have a drink, or host a party. TVs everywhere, a great sound system, and friendly and funny bartenders. All in all a really good place to hang after work, for the game, or to bring a date.

Went in for lunch, and it was not at all busy. Had the burger which was delicious! Fries were excellent. One of the best burgers I've ever had. My only complaint is that there isn't much of a selection on the menu. There are more appetizers to choose from than entrees.
