Honestly this is one of the coolest bars I have ever been to. It has a blend of locals and drifters and every single person that walks in has an interesting story to share. This really is a place that brings people together. I am grateful for it because I have made some fantastic friends just from passing by in my travels. If you're in the area, check it out. Bonus: the food is absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. The Chef takes great pride in his work and cranks out some great meals.

Awesome atmosphere, wonderful people and the food (chicken wings) was amazing. The chef/cook makes his homemade ranch dressing with the chicken wings that is to die for. An incredible experience.

Very friendly environment! The 1st night there we had a few beers and the bartenders and locals were very friendly. The bartender even let us borrow some bear spray. We came back a few days later for breakfast and it was damn good! We look forward to stopping by again!

Shotgun Bar is an absolute must-see for anyone visiting the area. Do not judge a book by it's cover, you have to go here!!! The prices for drinks are outrageously good. The drinks were great. There was live music when we were there. The atmosphere is incredible. Super friendly local folks were happy to chat if we wanted to or happy to leave us to talk amongst ourselves. Overall, an incredible spot, wish I could transplant this near my own home in Texas.

Shotgun Bar is a historic place in Island Park. Now it is being ran by two ladies who have really put a nice touch to the lodge and keep doing more all of the time. You can't get hard liquor but you can have beer, wine, spritzers and other drinks. They often have live music and it has a nice, cozy, friendly atmosphere.

No food on the menu and it's kinda far from the beaten path, BUT if you're in the area this place is 1000% worth a stop to enjoy some beverages and hang out with the locals. Everyone is so friendly and we had a great time hanging out and getting to know everyone. Thanks for creating such a fun and welcoming environment!
