Silver Dollar Bar

I'm really not a "bar guy" but my wife and I went to Silver Dollar Bar because we were told the food was good and it was. The first time we went was after lunch hours but before dinner so there wasn't many customers. The staff was super nice and the service was fast. The burgers are awesome and so we're the fried mushrooms we had as an appetizer. Today we went back around 6 PM and there was a pretty good crowd inside. Just like our first time the staff was all smiles and our food came out quickly. If you're ever in Chamberlain South Dakota you really should drop by Silver Dollar. Who knows, you might just win a jackpot on the slots while you're there.

An excellent place to take a load off and relax. The porch is so nice! I had a burger and fries and let me tell you, they are excellent. You can tell it's real fresh ground beef that they hand patty here. It tastes great. Nothing fancy. I just had onions on mine (you can also get pickles) but it was Deepak. They warmed and drained the bonds so well and were super generous with really juicy onions. The French fries were also fantastic. Real potato, fried top just the right crispiness. Not over salted. You can add more if you want, of course. The server was also outstanding. It seems like puts up with a lot from the "regulars" big she's still super professional and really efficient. I think she was the only one there and my food came out so fast! I would definitely recommend this place for a good old fashioned burger and beer.

Had a fund time at the Silver Dollar during their Tuesday Trivia night. Ate some wings (which were nice and crispy with the sauce on the side) and drank some drinks. The waitress was prompt at first, but she was soon overwhelmed by the more that people showed up. Overall, she managed as best as she could. When going to pay the bill, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not expensive at all. It was a nice time out in the town and it didn't hurt my wallet!

Wed afternoon, on our way to Spearfish to celebrate my birthday.....stopped in, had chislic (very good), a short drink and back off again....Jewel the bartender?? Very personable and really great bartender. Will be back on next trip through! Thank you!

Skip Al's and come here when they have the open face beef on special. Oh my goodness, it was heaven.

Newly built and very cool place. Beer on tap as well as a great variety. My friends and I had to order at the counter rather than be waited on. Not sure if that’s how they do business all the time or not. Kinda noisy due to the high ceiling but still fun. First time there but will be back again some time. Rustic Sports Bar atmosphere.

When you walk in, you establish a clear understanding that the place to have a drink and dinner in Chamberlain is Silver Dollar Bar. Wonderful bartenders who can talk with anyone the whole tome mixing drinks that taste like heaven. Food is the best at lunch with the specials Angie and Deanna make from scratch, and all the people who agree will be seen while your there. Amazing people and business.
