Genuinely the worst DJ I’ve ever heard on Friday. I don’t mean to be rude, but he played so many unrecognizable songs and tried to use his DJ buttons to “hype” up every song, and it ruined any recognizable song

Sam is the best bartender I’ve ever had. Not only if s he kind but he also cares about his customers and makes sure each person is okay. 10/10 would 100% come to this bar every time I go out.

This place can be fun when it's busy, but otherwise don't waste your time. The bathrooms were underwater on a couple visits, the drinks were generally poorly made, and service is hit or miss, especially if you're a male. For some reason all the bartenders there think a vodka/tonic requires lime juice. Ew.

It's a college drinking establishment. Don't come if you're not in college. Old dudes shouldn't be there hitting on college girls. Stay away, old dudes. Otherwise, great bar, great music, adequate drinks.

Typical college bar. Go for Sips'o'clock at 11:30 for free Dirty Shirleys. It does seem cleaner than in the past. Pro-tip, Sips and Paddy's are connected by stairs in the back. If there is a line for one, use the other line and switch in the back. There is a dance floor with live DJs, pool, and skee ball. Drinks are bottom barrel, but it can back a fun place sometimes.

Got denied and my drivers license taken by douche bag bouncer with a god complex. Tried to talk to management to get it back, but they ignored any complaints. Had to get a new license the next morning. Worst bar in Ames. Mickeys or Cys WAY better.

Always packed. Terrible bathrooms. Long wait for drinks. Free drinks at Sips O'Clock (11pm). It's a fun college bar where you can go to dance.
