Stopped by on a Thursday for an early 5pm dinner before going to a show, greeted and seated right away. The bar had most seats full but dining room was mostly empty. The menu isn't overwhelmingly extensive but offers a good amount of choices, Our food arrived faster than expected. Hubs ordered Grilled Chicken: Chicken breast was dry but collard greens & wild rice were good. I chose the Soup & Half Sandwich combo: French onion soup arrived in a small crock, I'm guessing 6, maybe 8, ounces. Temperature was tepid at best, the surface of the slice of cheese seemed to have been torch-seared but otherwise not melted. The onions were abundant and flavor of soup was average, but good. The half Corned Beef Sandwich was the saddest thing I've ever seen. A single slice of corned beef rolled to look girthy, I assume, on cold, soft white-bread type Rye. $17.95 was twice what the price should've been for this plate. Our server was pleasant & personable. If we come back maybe I'll try a burger, I heard it was good.

Loved the atmosphere of this British style pub that was in movie, Something to Talk About". We stopped in for a snack. We each had drink a wedge of cheese and crackers. It was perfect! Highly recommend!

Wow, THIS IS A PUB! This place has such a warm ambiance to chug down a nice stout pint! Holy recommended this place. The Quantity of food is very welcoming if you have an appetite and the food tastes pleasant. The service is very attentive. Try the Beef Guinness, it's insanely filling. You'd figured that be a top recommended for an English Pub, of course.

After going on a carriage ride and getting a recommendation from our guide, we made our way over. We sat at a table right away and didn't have to wait to order. Our server was very nice and gave us good feedback about the food. Two of us split a meal and assumed we would need to settle with each other but our server had split it and gave us our own checks. My Rubin was amazing and he kept our soda cups full. I will definitely return if given the chance.

On my first visit here, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on a seeded bun with the house potato salad, which was an absolute delight. Service was prompt and courteous. The atmosphere is impeccable. Gorgeous decor. It's definitely an A+! Certainly worth repeat visits. Edit: I have been here now on multiple occasions, and each visit I have yet to be disappointed. Today, I came in alone for the first time and sat on the bar side for lunch rather than the dining side. Bar staff is friendly and responsive, the atmosphere is very good during the lunch crowd. I had the pub burger and a blue moon draft while watching live music from a pub being live streamed in Dublin, Ireland . Such a beautiful experience.

If, like me, you are English and been away from there for a long time, the Sixpence is probably as near as you'll get to an English pub in the US. The beer is extra carbonated for the US market, and kept colder, without a good head on it. This is America, if they served to English taste they'd go out of business. They do serve Cumberland sausages which are excellent, and the black-eyed peas they offered were very similar to Haricot beans. The gravy was more like condensed cream of mushroom soup, tasted fine. The pub walls will offende any English people that oppose the monarchy, UT do include a collection of pub signs.

British pub with a selection of British pub food. Service is friendly but the food is served very quickly. Within a few minutes of the starter being served, the main course is already placed on the table. Would be nice to give the guests a little more time to finish the starter before serving the main course.

Limited vegetarian options but great cocktails. The indoor ambience was cozy with Christmas lights. Try their triple rum cocktail. Ask the waitress because it's not on the menu. The French onion soup was good too.
