It was a really good restaurant to pass by after hiking. The aesthetic of this place is great. The outdoor seating is pretty and the indoor seating offers it own quirks. The brisket I had wasn’t anything super amazing but it was still delicious. The baked beans and Mac and cheese were made well. Definitely would like to see some bigger portions for the price.

This place is sooooo cool!! The decor inside is super eccentric with so many different things to look at. Several mannequins and the ceiling had a super cool design. There is a fireplace and stained glass windows. The drinks and the food were amazing, and the staff was super friendly and catered to our specific requests. I loved it in there, and I will definitely be going back and recommending to others. This is definitely a must-see and eat place near Mount Hood!

Loved this old bar and grill. They have live music on the weekends. The place was surprisingly full on Saturday evening and while we couldn’t get a seat to dine in the main area with the live music and had to go to the dining room, we were able to get back to the bar area to enjoy the music and vibes post dinner. Recommend the sandwiches over the meat by the 1/4lb. Sandwich was flavorful and delicious and I enjoyed the kick in the Magical mr.E bbq sauce. Ended the meal with apple crisp which was sourced locally as well and was delicious and fresh!

Celebrating my sister in laws birthday after a full day at Timothy Lake. We had to wait for 45min -1hr but the were able to seat all 11 of us. Service is not gushing with attentiveness. They are busy all they way till closing time. I would say they are focused and efficient. Now the grub - the Mac and cheese is their signature dish and it is justified. My daughter said it is the best she has had in a very long time. The sampler platter is good. The ribs a little dry but the sauces are very good. The brisket is awesome and the pulled pork was also good. The pastrami sandwich has a bit too much pretzel bun for my liking. A marbled rye would be less doughy. Overall we had a fabulous time and a fabulous local fixture. Life don’t get better than that.

Such a fun place to dine! Staff was great, upbeat & friendly. Make reservations in the fall or winter and ask to sit near the BIG fireplace. What a treat that was! The FOOD was outstanding. You should definitely try the truffle & cheese polenta! Insanely good! Atmosphere is so festive, fun to look around at all the nostalgic signs, art, and antiques!

Really quirky…. The food was actually pretty awesome. I had brisket and my wife had a burger. Both were prepared just the way we like them. Cost was very reasonable also. I would love to come back sometime when they have live music (they only have music on Fri and Sat).
