What a great, friendly bar. Mindy the bartender was so friendly and offered lots helpful local suggestions since I had never been to Columbus except to fly out of the airport. Very clean, great selection of liquor and beer, playing college football. The food was great and the customers were all friendly and social. Awesome place!

Marcia told me I should go because the pizza was the best. I finally got there and she wasn't wrong! The atmosphere was great, service was friendly and awesome, and might be my new favorite pizza in Columbus.

Alden and Mindy are so much fun to visit! You never have to worry about being that loner by yourself because they always spark a conversation and make you feel included. Taylor is so attentive and always makes sure your drink is full, and Charlie slayed this hot honey pizza (trust me, you want it). Always a great time at slammers

I have been given recommendations that I should visit here, for quite awhile. I tried over Pride weekend, but it was too crowded and there was a line to enter. But, I knew this weekend would be different. I was at the convention center for an event, and decided to head to Slammers for a late lunch. The weather was decent and it was a nice 10-15 minute walk from the Hyatt Regency end of the convention center. It looks like an old neighborhood bar, with decent sized interior and exterior spaces. I ordered my usual well gin and tonic, and studied the menu. Good selection of appetizers and sandwiches. But I got intrigued by one of their specialty pizzas, The Bobbi. The usual sauce and cheese, but the other toppings were bacon, pineapple and sliced jalapenos. I am an adventurous diner, and looking for different tastes, and the sweet heat of this pizza really thrilled me. Drink price seemed on the high end, but I was served "tall" drinks, and I felt like I was drinking doubles, afterwards. So no complaint there, just you may have to pay more attention to how many drinks you are actually being served.

One of the best bars in the city. Amazing crowd, great bar staff, reasonable prices, super location. I tell all my friends to go here. Definitely check it out

Had to try their Pizza and they delivered. Our group had the Bobbi and it was absolutely delicious. We had a regular pep and cheese and it was also very good. The drinks were very tasty and the service and atmosphere were chill and welcoming. Sat on the patio and had a great time.

Slammers is one of the best bar experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere has an energy about it that is indescribable. We went there before a comedy show on a Wednesday night and had a great time. We got roped into some trivia and had a few drinks. My wife didn’t like the chicken tenders. That was the only complaint. The indoor bar is super cool and the patio is really nice! Its a very inviting place that feels like a bar that would belong in NY or Toronto. Can’t wait to go back!
