Splash Bar San Jose

First night, Monday Bingo! Cool! Second night, Tuesday, would not allow us to stay because of the same handbag we had the day before. Then whomever the skinny brunette person is threatened to call security on us for asking questions. Not a very accepting or clear policy place. Hope they get it together!

Creepy old men and bunch of old people. They won’t pay attention to you unless you’re a gay man. You have to BUY water. The music/dj is horrible. The workers are rude and the environment was just awful. I’ve given them 3 chances now, but it’s never a good experience. Go to SF instead!

As of 04/17/21 This bar is Open...It's just picking up, they have still the distance and mask restrictions. If you go around 7 is better you have more chances to get inside and stay there or else the have tables on the street. Good music. I started feeling kinda going back to normal.

They stole our jackets and never gave it back. They pulled one of my friend's arm and his arm is hurt so bad that and it's purple now. We have video of how their employee assaulted one of our friends. We are pressing charges at the police station today and filed a report. Stay away from this gay bar. Since they sold this place to greedy people. They have never been to same. Stay away. It's not gay friendly. They just want your money. I have never seen a bar charging $6 for water anyway.

Do not come here if you have a foreign ID. My friends and I waited in line for over a half hour and the bouncer wouldn’t accept my immigrant friend’s passport. When asking him to get a manager, he refused and shoved my friend out of line. I am very disappointed in Splash as I thought they were a liberal and pro-immigration establishment. This experience felt very ignorant and truly inexcusable for a club in San Jose.

Waited almost all day for this part to open. Upon walking in at about 4:01, 4:02, the bartender had a nasty look and seemed to be bothered that I walked in. I asked if they had a specific alcohol. His response was to look at the rack and figure it out. I was the only customer, probably the first one of the day. All I did was ask because some were turned with label not visible. Not coming back.

Nice bar and service. Door people were friendly as well. I would recommend checking this place out

Ambiance was nice but when we first went in they asked for id, then a second person halfway in the door asked for us to leave our id with them. We then left the bar after drinking and they kept our ids.
