4 stars for the great selection of beers. Friendly bar staff quick service. Alternative-ish crowd. I couldn’t tell if it was a straight but gay friendly bar or a gay but straight friendly bar. Perhaps it does not matter - I think any one would feel comfortable here. After you get a beer you feel like you fit right in. Live music and live art (at least the day that I went). 2 beers later $10 spent. Not bad.

Excellent spot with the perfect neighborhood joint/dive bar vibe. Solid selection of drinks, good specials, and great staff. Some nights they have live music on their small stage that is a mix of local acts and touring bands. It's easy to see how they have such a large group of regulars.

I had an amazing experience ,all thanks to Megan, our fantastic bartender! Her warm welcome and exceptional drink-making skills made our visit truly memorable. Megan goes above and beyond to create a positive atmosphere. She deserves recognition for her outstanding service, and I highly recommend giving her a raise. Cheers to Megan for making our visit delightful!

The Squire plays their music so loud that it disturbs nearby residents. I am frequently woken up in the middle of the night and struggle to get sleep because this venue will not play their music at a reasonable volume level. To be clear, I don’t expect total silence, nor do I expect that I will never hear the music from my building. The volume level is just INSANE. It is loud to the point where it is uncomfortable and without a doubt damages the hearing of the people inside. I say this as somebody who is a frequent concert goer and goes out a lot - it is just too loud. The bottom line is that this bar is located in a residential area, and therefore should start taking the proper measures to not disturb the people who live nearby. The music needs to be turned down, and there is no need for speakers outside of the venue. The volume levels could easily be reduced without affecting patrons ability to enjoy or hear the music as this is a very small venue. Hoping this revue gets to the right people and that they have the kindness to listen to it.

Fun and divey and draws a good crowd. There are large windows that are open during nice weather and make the space feel even bigger. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, drinks are served quickly, staff is friendly and the price is right! Usually live music going on over the weekend. If you’re out on Colfax, make sure to pop in.

Not sure what we did to the bartender the second we walked in the door but she was beyond rude. We were in from out of town and were looking for a relaxing dive to have fun before a comedy show… apparently we picked the wrong place. I was asking the bartender which direction the comedy club was and she literally turned her back and walked away from me while I was speaking. We went and spent hundreds of dollars at The Satire instead since it was unclear that they wanted our business here.

It’s the Squire. D-Trait was playing so we had to go, the Entertainment was really really good and the drinks weren’t to bad either.

Sometimes you wanna go, where everybody knows your name.... This bar is the best! Prices are fair, staff is always friendly.... Nice smoking patio on Colfax. Very accommodating for sports games on TV.
