2 people got their phones stolen, people in our party got escorted out for no reason and when asked gave no reason, rude bald guy with the mustache put hands on someone. Can’t be doing that see you in court. Do not recommend this place at all. We use to come her all the time for years now. Now we are never going back. Hope the place goes under.

My friend and I went in for drinks after 5:00PM. The bar is super nice! Love the decorations and vibe. Our bartender, Mason, was great! He really made our experience memorable with excellent conversation and service. He encouraged us to come back for the dancing and even told us about the Halloween theme. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. Excited for this place. Thank you, Mason!

Finally! Some friends of mine invited me to join them at Strut on Friday night. I’m so glad I did, it was a blast! Great environment with fun music and DJ, different spaces to be in the crowd or take a break and grab a drink, and a beautiful space with amazing video, lighting and art. Having grown up in OC it’s so great to have a place for a fun night out within Uber/Lyft distance. You should totally check it out for yourself!

Costa Mesa, We have a new club in town and it's called STRUT! The vibe is Las Vegas meets WeHo with a mix of Essex. I went opening weekend and immediately knew this place was gonna be special. There's something for everyone! Peacock-plumed cocktail servers, roller-skating gogo dancers, boy-next-door bartenders and downtown DJs. On weekends you'll wait on a crazy-long line! I mean like CRAZY long. After that you enter through a fabulously neon-covered hallway a - perfect for the LYBL selfie. The hallway leads to a great view of the main room which has private tables, and benches. You can walk a few steps down to the dancefloor or continue across the room to the main bar. The bar has a great mix of newly released signature cocktails - including my current favorite, the OHHHH HENNY! It's a tiki drink made with JD Honey, pineapple and more. It's oh so sweet and oh so good! Another popular favorite appears to be the one called DADDY ISSUES. Figures! **Side note: YELP! When are you gonna start supporting emojis!?!?!** ok, The DJs they've had so far have been unreal! Including DJ Josh Peace. His spins get everyone hot and wet on the dance floor. If you feel like you're overheating, you can retire to the lounge at the back of the building. It has its own bar with stylish decor that carries throughout - hot-pink high-backed chairs, oil paintings with gilded frames and roomy booths perfect for groups or a special tete-a-tete with tonight's insta-date. The barstools here are a little uncomfortable as you can only rest your foot on one side, but after one of their cocktails you'll forget all about that. Unlike WeHo, the bartenders here are so nice they make it feel like home. Big shout out to Sarah Dee for assembling an amazing squad! This is my new favorite spot and a great addition to downtown CM. If you want to see what all the fuss is about come on down and STRUT your stuff!

Great place for friends, fun and dancing. Staff is wonderful. My one "concern" is the inconsistency of music and the use of the sound system. I've heard horrible DJ's (personal opinion) who knew how to blow the roof off the ceiling. This past weekend however, I could CLEARLY hear myself speaking to my friends. So much so that several people asked the DJ to "turn it up". Maybe the DJS should do a decimal sound check in advance. The music was a great blend of pop and house...too bad it was background noise and not driving people to the dance floor.

Strut OC, where do I even begin? I've been here at least 15 times over the past three years, and let me tell you, it's been a wild ride. The music, which used to be a total vibe, has become a bit hit or miss lately. But here's the good news – the drinks are AMAZING, and they won't break the bank. In the past, Strut was the place to have the time of our lives, but the last 3-4 visits have been a bit rocky, with some problematic people in the mix. Nevertheless, what I absolutely adore is how incredibly inviting they are to gays and theys – that's a big plus. While they used to host more drag shows, it seems like management has shifted their focus elsewhere, which has affected the overall quality of Strut. But let me tell you about Ana, the bartender extraordinaire – she's my absolute favorite! She knows how to whip up the perfect drink and is a blast to be around. I'd love to give Strut another shot, but I can't help but worry about wasting money. Overall, I'd rate it a 3.6 out of 5. I'd definitely go back, but it's reserved for those special occasions when we're in the mood for a memorable night out!
