I just finished my first 90 minute float. It was great! I feel very relaxed mentally and physically. I would recommend their services. The site is clean and inviting and the owners are friendly and welcoming.

My experience with the Tank House Community has been a gradual journey. I first learned about them after doing some research. I had a functional medicine doctor recommend it as an option and around the same time I read a book on how to heal traumatic brain injury and it described floating as one of the best therapies to help start the healing process for pain relief, anxiety, depression, muscle tension, high blood pressure, etc. Essentially your brain goes into a meditative/ theta brain wave state that helps to reduce cortisol and inflammation. It’s thought that by reducing stress hormones, the body is able to enter deeper healing processes, in effect accelerating the body’s natural ability to heal. I've floated off and on these past 3 years whenever I really needed an extra boost or was in a lot of extreme pain and needed relief when nothing else seemed to help. However it wasn't until we found out I was pregnant this past March that I started depending on them more regularly for pain management and energy support. The first trimester was VERY hard on me and then on top of it, I had to go off all pain meds as well as the other more natural alternatives I was using regularly like Red Light, Cryo, IF Sauna, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Floating became my only option for pain relief, recovery from nights of poor sleep, constipation, cramping, etc then I started including Alan's myofascial release and that has helped significantly as well. I find I feel so much better utilizing these services regularly. Now in my second trimester and almost to my third, I've found it even more helpful with bringing relief to the increased swelling in my feet and changes/expansion in my pelvic, hip, and back region. If Wichita didn't have a float tank, I really would truly be in a world of hurt. I have found it so helpful for pain relief and recovery that now I always seek out float tanks in other cities whenever we need to travel for doctors appointments or important family events out of state. Denise and Alan are great. They are more than just a business that just exchanges services for money. They really care about your experience, health, overall well being. It has also been really cool to see them expand and grow in their beautiful new location with their cymatic sound bed, various massage options, and sauna. I am interested in checking out the mayan abdominal massage after giving birth. They are working towards building a unique and special community of healers and also practice what they preach, which I personally find important to foster trust. Too often our conventual health care model involves well meaning, but stressed out, unhealthy, over weight medical personnel who either can't (because they are overworked) or just don't know any better when it comes to implementing healthy lifestyle habits to manage their own well being. Long story short, The Tank House Community is an absolute gem of a place and Wichita is incredibly blessed to have access to the various services they provide.

First time experiencing a float tank. Well worth it! The hospitality is great and the place is beautiful.

I have tried both the float tank & myofasca massage. Both Allen & Annie create a welcome & safe environment so you can experience the fullness of these practices. For about 2 months now my breathing/lung capacity has been terrible; struggling to breathe for 2 months. Two days after getting a myofasca, my lungs literally opened up again & my breathing is almost back to normal I 1000% highly recommend the tankhouse & all of their services!

Don’t go until they move locations. Their current facility is nothing like advertised. The tub is not enclosed. It has a shower curtain around it and lets in a draft When I turned the light off in the room the light in the tub went off. Had to get in the tub and find the light button in total darkness. Extremely dangerous after they told me the floor will be slippery. They advertise music The system was broken. I was told I would enjoy it better silent! This was my first time to do this. I liked the floating experience but found it hard to relax in such a bad environment. Save your money!
