What a great spot to get some tasty food! Everything is cooked in front of you, service is nice! Place is roomy and feels spacious. It was busy on a weekday evening, but there was no wait to get seated. Their Reuben sandwich was amazing, so as gyro and coleslaw! Everything is fresh and delicious! Pita, fries - all tastes great! Will be coming back to this place!

It was okay. We went during Clawson Fest so I might give it another try when it’s not so busy. I got the tavern burger, it was pretty basic & not very flavorful. It would be nice if the sandwiches were served with fries, but they aren’t so we paid extra for a side of fries and barely got any. They were a mix of straight & crinkle cut so they must’ve been running out. My mom got the Reuben & really liked it. For drinks, I tried the tropical punch cocktail. It was good! i would come back to try the appetizers & other drinks.

This place really stands out. All eight of us really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere (temperature, lighting, seating). Waiter was very good and super-friendly.

We ordered the Tirokafteri (feisty feta), Mile High Stacked Club side of french fries and the Wild Caught Snapper dinner. If the sandwich picture doesn’t speak for itself, go order one to try because it’s delicious. I love a generous sandwich Fish was tasty too and we enjoyed the feisty feta dip which tasted like spicy, creamy feta. I would recommend toasting the pita that came with it next time though. Great local spot and wonderful outdoor area to relax in and enjoy your food.

I truly enjoy going to Tavern on Main. The food is very good, Greek & American fare. Homemade soups & huge salads. Wonderful craft cocktails at reasonable prices. Great service staff. This is my "go to" bar/ restaurant.

The food was great. I even ordered something to take home with me. We met for lunch and we're able to talk and catch up comfortably.

Very poor acoustics. I had to ask for the Red Wings game. Apparently, they think sports talkshows are more important. Our waitress seemed agitated & gave poor service & had the nerve to ask if we needed change on a $56 bill when given $100. Seriously: a $44 tip she thought she was worth?! Lol. Not w/ that subpar food. My fish wasn’t cooked right at all: no searing & was a bit on the undercooked side. I was given no butter or sour cream for my potatoes. My buddy didn’t even finish his cheeseburger.
