Bill is extremely knowledgeable, asking detailed questions to ensure you are perfectly taken care of. He skillfully targeted my pressure points with precision. If you’re seeking a deep tissue massage, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Bill. My back was so tight and had knots and by the end it was more relaxed and no more stiffness! He did an exceptional job, combining firmness with gentleness. The entire experience was smooth and effortless! I feel rejuvenated and will definitely be back soon. Thank you!!

The most incredible massage therapist ever! I got massage often when Bill was working in SF. Unfortunately, Bill has to move out of SF to Alameda. I was a bit worried about how I would have to go there without a car. Last week, I took an O bus from the salesforce transit center directly to Tehwalai Thai massage and Wellness!! It took me 30 minutes and It was easier than I thought. I booked a personalized message and got a cupping and hot stones especially for my upper back pain. The treatment was amazing as always and I felt like I got my new upper back (LoL). The ambience was warmly welcoming and relaxed. Well, I have to go to Alameda often because of my massage therapist!

Authentic thai massage without "tourist price" in the bay area! It was so relaxing that 2hr flew by. Pricing is reasonable. It is clean and calm, and nice decor. This is a great place for massage outside of a high-end, full service spa environment. Bill can get your knots out with just the right amount of pressure.

This was one of my best massage experiences in the Bay Area. I found this place through a Google search while looking for something near my house. The room was clean, and the environment was quiet. My massage therapist, I think his name is Bill?, had strong hands and knew where to target my sore muscles. I am happy with my first visit, and return to try their other services.

I’ve been meaning to write a review after my first experience with Bill a couple weeks ago. I booked a 90-minute individualized massage & it was the best massage I’ve had in YEARS! And the last one I had was at fancy-ass Burke Williams a couple months ago. My mother is Thai/Lao so I’ve had lots of experience getting massages in Thailand & I can attest that Bill is right up there in terms of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, his technique, and using the perfect amount of pressure (based on our conversation). 5 easy stars and I will be going back!

Hands down one of the best massages I've ever had, if not the best. Bill is super friendly, knowledgeable, and strong! He goes above and beyond to provide comfort and relaxation, and he's very thorough. He checked in with me frequently about how I was doing, pressure, etc. Bill offered hot stone, essential oils, cupping, herbal balm, and CBD cream to enhance the massage. After, he recommended stretches and self-massage to help maintain and relieve discomfort until the nest session. The studio itself is located conveniently in Alameda with plenty of parking on the street and in a nearby garage. The building is quiet and well-decorated with a nice waiting area (pictured) and very clean bathrooms. It's also very secure and safe, with a personalized code to enter. Bill has complimentary water (regular and coconut), tea, and chocolates available as well! Overall an amazing experience, especially for someone looking for a mixture of traditional Thai and western massage practices. I'd recommend to anyone who wants to relax and get lasting pain relief!

I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing many massages in my life, but the deep tissue massage at Tehwalai Thai Massage stands out as the absolute best. My shoulders were in a lot of pain and I reached out for a last minute appointment and Bill, the massage therapist accommodated me without hesitation. Bill is not only highly knowledgeable but also warm, friendly, and impressively strong. He took the time to ask detailed questions about my needs and preferences, ensuring that every bit of tension was expertly addressed in the 90-minute session. His studio is immaculate, serene, and beautifully decorated, creating a perfect environment for relaxation. The thoughtful touches, such as complimentary water and chocolates, made the experience even more special. I felt completely safe and cared for throughout my time there. Though I don’t live in Alameda, I know that this will be my go-to spot whenever I visit family. I’m truly grateful to have found this spot and look forward to returning whenever I’m in the area.
