If you're a fan of electronic music, this nightclub is a must-visit. Featuring famous DJs, the lights and sounds here are top-notch, creating an immersive experience that keeps the energy high all night long. The club also offers a unique variety of music with a basement area dedicated to different genres, ensuring there's something for everyone. On special occasions, they open their rooftop, where you can enjoy an awesome view of the city. The combination of great music, vibrant atmosphere, and stunning cityscape makes this spot truly exceptional.

I had a great experience at Temple recently with a bunch of friends on 5/25, which was allegedly their last day open according to SF news sources. I found out on that night from staff, however, that it wasn’t their last night and they’re still open. Having recently moved to SF from the LA metropolitan area, I was super impressed by the venue. It is way nicer and larger than any of the LA clubs I’ve been to in Ktown and Hollywood. I certainly hope it stays open because places like this make me want to go out every weekend.

Temple's current staff is fantastic! Big thank you to George & Carlos for taking care of the mamas at the GoldFish concert. So impressed & definitely recommend bottle service for a crew. Main floor has cool LED screens everywhere - was awesome to look up at the ceiling & see a stream of the DJs on their decks for part of the show. Cool lights, confetti, & smoke for the ultimate dance party. Been going here for 10+ yrs & seen the various remodels. Glad to see this venue is invested in a great staff, good sound system, & killer lineup. Keep it up! Oh & the cherry on top, their bathrooms & the dance floor were well kept and cleaned all night.

I contacted the nightclub before the show to ask about tickets since I had never been there before. I was told the closest option to the stage would be the vip experience table. When I arrived the ViP experience/open bar table was the last table close to the back corner wall and the stage was not visible. I paid $150 for the ticket (even though I told the person I do not drink). Turns out I stood up the whole time to be close to the stage- did not get one drink from the VIP table and the others next to me on the dance floor/ close to the stage paid $35 The messages she (Temple Management, Melody) sent me were very misleading and it was difficult to keep my cool after I got there and saw what I paid for. I did ask for a better area but was told this was what I paid for. There was no one I could talk to about it as they were all busy. If you're curious about what level ticket to pay for- buy the cheapest one possible if you want to be close to the stage. There are no sections that are roped off unless you buy a table with bottle service. If you do buy one of those I was told the higher price you pay- the closer your table will be. If you choose the VIP Experience- you will have NO VIEW of the stage and no screen anywhere that streams the show. You are basically screwed. Any option with a full bar will not be worth it- the place was so crowded you couldn't get a drink anyway. The artist I paid to see came out at 1am after standing at the stage for about 90 minutes. He was on the stage for about 20-30 minutes. He sang over the original tracks the DJ played- it was rough. However, my stars aren't based upon that experience. The 2 stars are basked upon being scammed out of $150 when I could have paid $35. The crowd was very young- if you are 21-25 this is probably a good spot for you. Mature crowds might be disappointed as the shenanigans are prety juvenile. I won't be returning now that I know what it is like.

It is the absolute best nightclub in all of San Francisco. Temple's main stage dance floor has an entire roof of LED tiles from floor to ceiling. There are also fog cannons and kicking sound systems. The club has multiple bars with great drinks. Temple offers the best private sections in San Francisco: good music, a great atmosphere, and many people. I highly recommend Temple.

I got a stamp, security let's me out. Trying to get back in the treat me as I am sneaking in. This is so annoying. They suggest I pay again!! I have 6 friends inside the club, they asked me to call them all out and leave. This is absurd. Pay 20 $ again for re entry. They suggested I should ask them while leaving if there is reentry. I am very confused why they stamp at entry!!!!!

Very cool spot in downtown SF. The rooftop (known as the Skyline Lounge) has great views of the city and is a chill hangout spot with drinks and music. $15 cover to enter, but worth it for the views and the vibes.

My review is based on my experience in VIP so please take this review with this in mind. It was my first time at Temple SF with a group of my friends celebrating a birthday and the team at temple were excellent. The host, Danny, made setting up a table incredibly easy and he was able to be flexible working with me due to some unexpected changes. Our bottle service host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Security checks Vax cards which is reassuring and made getting in a smooth process. Now to the venue. Wow. I've been to a lot of clubs around the world but for a medium sized club Temple definitely ranks somewhere in the top. The vertical light panel and overall production gives Temple its unique flare. The VIP area is also thoughtfully spaced out where it's close enough to GA to feel the energy but still plenty of private space for a large group. Great job Temple team, you made my group's San Francisco weekend a blast! We will be back when we're in the area.
