The 1up Arcade Bar - Colfax

This place is the ultimate playground for adults. I got overwhelmed by so many games I could play, but definitely tried to play them all. The amount per game is reasonable and varies. They have old to new games. The bar area is nice. I wish I would have got her name but the bartender was great. They had a sign with promoted drinks, and I tried the White Tea shot! It was soooooo good and went down so smooth I had several! I didn’t get to try any food, but I did enjoy my time here.

Honestly would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the dude up front. He gave us a very condescending rude attitude from the start. The music is honestly trash too but there’s an option to pay for music to be played. They also closed a hour before google said they would. Not that big of a deal but the same dude from up front had an attitude about it. Nonetheless we had a good time. The bartender was really nice! She was helpful and sweet. Although the drinks are overpriced unless you come during happy hour. The games are fun. It’s pretty cheap too. Nothing too fancy but still a fun date night and a retro arcade.

They have pizza, didn't have any. Lots of drinks and arcade games. Nostalgia from it all. They took care of me on my stay in Denver. Wish I could spend more time here. Tipped well.

The reviews about some of the staff being rude are definitely accurate. I've been coming here for 10 years. That being said, I still come for the games. But the owners are losing money because of some of the staff. They should really do something and get rid of the portion of the staff who don't belong in the service industry. I just mostly ignore them, quickly order a drink and then go play games and it's fine. But don't expect a smile from most of them and the bouncers are definitely rude and unreasonable fairly often. It's not my bar so whatever but I don't see why the owners let some of the staff lose money for them. Still worth going though, for the games.

I had a few hours to kill before a train ride so I jumped on a scooter and found this hangout. All of the favorites of my childhood were there in addition to new attractions such as pinball machines modeled from modern intellectual property. The cost was a little expensive. I bought a non-alcoholic drink and it set me back five dollars. The pinball machines can be up to a dollar per play. That being said, the ten dollars that I spent while I was there made it a nice way to spend the afternoon.

I was looking to organize an event for a large group, and Nina reached out and helped get me in contact with management to make it happen. We had more than 50 people show up and the staff handled it with ease and smiles. Everyone had a great time and I'd definitely recommend it for a fun night out!

Went for a friends birthday. One of the racing games didn’t connect with the other games, the skew ball area had stick floors as well as the balls. There was one bar tender for a Saturday night, and she didn’t seem excited to be there. Would have stayed a little longer if I could have gotten a drink of some kind.

My friend and I had a terrific time at 1UP Arcade Bar!! They have great drink options and so many games to choose from! The bartenders were amazing and so helpful to my friend and i. Also the bathrooms are super clean and they are also gender neutral. I had so much fun here!
